Help me choose a guitar bag worth 1.5k-2k. I can on shell out that much coz i have a cheapo LP guitar. My choice is CNB(2k) and SKB (1700). Unfortunately, Ibanez Powerpad cost much more. Or if you can point me where i can find a PRS SE bag, that's much better.

Mas mahal ang powerpad? May powerpad around 1.2k lang. That's the black one. Yung green ang medyo mahal ng onti, around 2.7k ata. Check it out. I prefer it kesa sa CNB bags,.

Out of stock na yang lumang version ng powerpad. What they have now costs 2.3k.

That's better than CNB. Kung 2k yung CNB, get the green powerpad. 300 difference lang.

Yup! Malambot siya at madaling mabutas. I was on an acoustic guitar gigbag hunt 2 years ago. Ended up with the lower end powerpad kasi wala sila nung mas mahal. Pero mas gusto ko yung padding nung mas mahal na powerpad.

i could have got the new version (IGB621) for 2.3k but it's too much for me considering that i only have a not-so-known guitar.  :-o

anyway, time to hunt for an amp!

Hi guys,  where can I buy an expression pedal for my line 6 m5 locally? I urgently need one. I prefer line6 ex1 or roland ev5 .. But I guess in my case, any expression pedal would do. -_-

Thanks in advance.

yupangco would carry your line6 and roland preference. you can also try using the expression pedals from M-AUDIO and ZOOM, from JB MUSIC.

bakit kaya may significant volume drop pag nililipat ko yung pick up selector sa baba pag naka clean tone? pag naka on yung dirt pedal wala namang volume drop. sa taas at gitna ok naman pero pag sa baba may volume drop pag naka clean tone.

3 way pickup selector, emg 81/85 gitara ko

isa na yun sir. pwede ring battery na lalo na kung matagal na batts natin..

from EMG's FAQs:

What happens if the battery runs out?

We were afraid you were going to ask... Because EMG pickups are designed from the ground up to operate as active pickups, they’re not very functional when deprived of power. As the battery weakens over time, the output level will reduce and become more distorted. When you hear that happening, it’s time to change the battery.

Below a certain voltage, the onboard active circuitry will stop working. At that point, you will hear little or no output from the guitar. Don’t let this happen to you!

Other “active” systems run the output of normal high-impedance pickups into a buffer amp or active EQ circuit. If the battery goes dead in one of these systems, you can bypass the active circuit and still get some sound. That’s nice, but this sort of design compromises the pickup design yielding only a few of the benefi ts of optimized active pickup design. That bypass switch will cost you tone and noise - a BAD tradeoff.

In my personal experience sa EMG 81/85.......

Can anyone suggest a practice amp? Someone said to stay away from marshall mg series, any other alternative?

Also, multieffect; 5k below for the budget.

Good alternatives are blackstar's id:core and peavey's rage258, both are very versatile practice amp. For an Mfx a second hand zoom ms50G will do
