Hi!

I'm on a search for headphones which are enough for tracking with good isolation. Kindly recommend me an affordable / reliable one. Price range bet 1300 - 2500.

Somebody recommended Senheisser HD202, but it's not available in any music store I inquired.

Please help thanks. I need several of those headphones for my recording biz.

Yes, this model has good isolation. Closed ear headphones have better isolation than open ear headphones... Yes, I am with Audiophile.

if your looking for a good ISOLATION tracking headphone..

maybe the 1st thing to consider is the type of headphone

closed, semi closed and open..
and i think the closed type headphones are specifically designed for tracking purposes..

Hi sir! Nice to know you're from AP. From what branch? I usually get my stuffs from AP MCS, AP SM North and AP Pioneer (from guitar related to pro audio), kung saan may stock sa tatlong yan.
I know Bernard from Pioneer and Marlon from MCS, sa North kilala ko lang sa mukha hehe.

I have hd 681 evo already. Not bad. But for "maingay" na instrument I think hindi siya ganun ka reliable na pang tracking, PERO pwede narin.
What can you say about your hd 631? Is it good for tracking? kamusta isolation niya?

Thanks for your inputs. So what are you suggesting then? Any particular model?

Headphone that I have on hand:

Sennheiser HD448 (1)
Sennheiser HD201 (2)
Superlux HD681 Evo (1)
Presonus HD7 (1)

I need 4 more. I tested again these headphones last night side by side using my s-amp and the one that standout: Presonus HD7

Well I'm considering the Samson SR950, will get 1 or two.

Any suggestion pa?

magugulo lang po mga sir.. eto po bang mga headphone na to ay magkaiba sa pang mixing na headphonr yung pwd ikabit sa interfacekasi ayoko bumili ng monitor speaker, headphone na lang sana... thanks

You're question is not that clear but I'll answer the way I understand it.

Yes... the headphones mentioned here are capable of monitoring your studio recordings. IMHO, if you want a headphone for mixing, from the models i have, I'll recommend the HP7.

sorry kung di mo po nagets... ganito kasi yun.. bibili ako ng interface para sa pag rerecord ng guitar or piano and cajon, tapos sir ipag mimix ko sila pero ayoko gumamit ng speaker monitor gusto sana headphones lang para di maingay...

gusto ko malaman kung anong headphone yung maganda para sa gagawin ko kasi kung ordinary headphone lang baka di niya kaya yung frequency ng mga instruments...

ano pong brand yung HP7 sorry bago lang ako sa recording..

I see. tama din sagot ko hehe. Presonus yung HP7, para sakin ha, need to test pa yung Samson and AKG na suggested dito.
Actually kekelanganin mo din ng monitor speaker eh, pwedeng pagtiisan yung headphone pero MUST have din ang monitor speakers...

personally po i would recommend Senheisser HD 280 Pro..but its out of range sa budget
I own a pair and its what i use for tracking and field recording... it has a nice isolation i can attest it..
it also almost have a flat response frequency

I also own an AKG K-77 ..
i use it for monitoring ..Tracking Pede din hehe..but not that good in isolation

it seems the samson SR950 is a closed type ..so it maybe good for isolation
but i dont have any experience on it..

we suggest to visit your local store and demo them personally....

I use Sennheiser HD380pro. Using it for tracking and mixing. I have AKG K-44 but it adds colors to sound i dont like it.
