No amp was used huh.Amazing guitar tone! Its so warm and "brown".And to consider this was circa '80's,no amp modeler during those days.

i also attended the mike pedero workshop with dantuts.
When sir mike let us listen RP... I WAS BLOWN AWAY!
the guitar, the recording , the vocals leagues beyond!!
sobrang ganda pa ng recording. Its wierd how RP's
recording which was around 80's is far more superior
than the recording of most bands today. galing!

uy boss leech! post ka ng clips ah!!!

I only heard "Inner Country".  In that album, he played around 5-10 different stringed instruments I think and an array of different percs.  Andun din si misis Grace singing on some songs.  I remember na the first time I ever listend to it, I was blown away.  All songs are noteab;e tracks pero as far as I can remember I really enjoyed Yeye(I think) where he introed with a ukelele jam tapos evolved into something else na maluit.  Lupet lang talaga.

Eto yung awards niya for Inner Country:

Bob Aves, Inner Country, BMG Pilipinas, 2000
Winner of 6 Katha Awards:
· Best Instrumental Album
· Best Instrumental Composition (In Silence)
· Best Instrumental Arrangement (In Silence)
· Best Instrumental Performance (In Silence)
· Best Jazz Instrumental Composition (Where The River Flows)
· Best Jazz Instrumental Performance (Where The River Flows)

NU used to also play his version of Here, There, and Everywhere on the radio.  It's almost like the George Benson arrangement except with heavy distortion and pinch harmonics left and right.

naku naunahan mo lang ako deadwing. but he's really awesome in that track. kausohan ng satriani's surfing yun noong madals ko din naririnig yung here there and everywhere sa NU 107....he became grace nono's husband and producer sa mga album nya.
guitarist telling the drummer what the intro to laklak was. caught on video.at binilangan pa ang drummer 1-2...1-2-3..lol

Goff is active in the Philmusic mailing list. There were a few queries about RP a while back. Damn, I don't have a copy of Strange Storms...only Street Legal.

I don't think it was Bob who played at the 1st NU Rock Awards though..can anyone confirm this?
