I remember back in the day when I created my account "juan_portnoy" which I eventually retired, GC used to be brimming with activity. Nowadays, it's very obvious that there are less people hanging out here. I find this very odd because the past couple of years have been arguably the golden years in guitar gear.

My question is, where are all the people at? Lol.

I think the increasing accessibility of information over the Internet has something to do with it. Mas maraming andito noon dahil napag-uusapan yung mga topics. Ngayon, igu-Google lang nila, andiyan na yung information. No need to wait for thread replies.

Yep and of course facebook.

Di lang si GC kundi sa buong PM talagang kumonti ang tao, yung mga actives ngayon, sila-sila nalang din makikita mo sa ibang thread.

yep! andami nila dati naalala ko, dami ko rin natutunan sa mga yun.. mejo feisty din ako nung mga panahon na yun with my limited knowledge, I could say that I learned immensely from those threads..

Buong PM humina. Kahit samen sa Pinoydrums. Iba rin talaga nagawa ng madaling access sa FB.

I guess you guys are right. The new generation of guitarists have all they need in FB kaya I guess new members registering here have declined. Even yung classifieds sa FB mas madaming activity.

mas maganda pa rin mga items dito sa classifieds. mas systematic pa maghanap. sobrang smorgasbord yung posts sa FB classifieds eh.

In my case kadalasan chinecheck ko din ung fs post sa pm classifieds to confirm, at of course bg check lng sa fb profile mismo.
