Title: What's going on in the Electronica scene in the PI?

First off, I just wanted to say Hi!. I'm new here, I stumbled onto this board searching for electronica in the PI. I'll be going there in a couple of months, and I wanted to know of any cool places to hang out and listen to some beats. Clubs, events, cafes, street corners... whatever. I just wanna check out the scene while I'm visiting. Thanks.

there are a number of clubs that play electronic music. As in Djs spinning vinyl or Cds. Here's a few i know of:

in Makati: Halo, Government, Temple, Coquina


There is also a growing underground movement of those performing live electronica via samplers, laptops, keyboards, and vocalists.
Check out Drip at http://www.dripscience.com and the artists on my Pinoy netlabel QED Records.

Live electronica gigs however are not as common, maybe once or twice a month.
