"Jazz is maturity" being an audio enthusiast or music player... love for music is already in our vein the time we were born and as we grow older it grows with us too, starting from listening to pop or bakya as some would call it, then into a more heavier stuff like rock & roll and blues then later on you will find yourself listening to "Fusion" a blend of two music genre which lean more on pop and light jazz eventually entering into the world of jazz, others opt the comptemporary while some into a more diverse music such as avant-garde but was also classified as jazz.
For me the turning point of jazz was during the late 70's when the contemporary artist takes the route of jazz into a different level other than bebop and mainstream, the heavy guitar riff and solos and complex drumming brings out the best of that style and migrating from rock to jazz is by no means an easy route then and now...
