Pagsapit ng hapon be prepared.

nga pala, how your experience? from all your life na driving manual then nagdrive kayo ng matic?

acid rain kasi, nadidissolve yung mga dumi agad

feeling ko iba yung sagot ko dito lalo na sa super long time nang nagmamaneho ng manual, pero nung nag automatic ako, sobrang sarap ng buhay! partly because I have short proportions, so I have to sit closer to the steering wheel so I can disengage the clutch fully. sa automatic, pwede na ako lumayo, mas malawak na ang side and rear views ko, tapos chillax lang.

bro ano kelan ba shot natin?

i don't own an automatic e, but i drive my gf's sister's car, a sentra gsx na automatic. pag ginagamit ko yun, i feel like i'm transported to a different world - power steering,
cold a/c even on hot days (nissan e) and very convenient kasi otomatik. i kinda want one as a daily driver, stock height and all.  :-D

had anyone gone up to baguio lately? may mga closed sections ba sa kennon?

Got me thinking. May low at high beam tayo. Gusto ko ng third option, yung brighter/brightest, he he he. So magha-high beam ako. Tapos pag nag-high beam sya, may kasunod pa ako.

headlights talaga yan gamitin.

totoo yan paps. pero if you ask me, unless we adopt emissions regulations ng CA or kahit 48-state, yung emission test now available dito will serve well.

2. the equipment is shoddy (i've seen centres na yung mga sensor is so old and fvcked up that i question the reliability of its reading)
3. bumagsak ka man, basta kilala yung centre, pwedeng mailusot. this explains why a lot of jeepneys and buses which would otherwise be off the road
are still in service.

meron pa nga dati na LTO Kawit refused to register my car, I think 2013 or 2012 ito, because my a/c daw is not legal, may mali daw. so i asked the lady who was
"inspecting" the car, and she pointed at random things in my engine bay na walang kinalaman sa a/c.

So i asked her again how it was illegal, wala naman siya sinagot  na maayos. takte nakakabobo, as it turns out, gusto ata ng lagay. e pusa kako hindi na!

so i left the place, waited a day, then contacted my gf's brother who knew someone working at the same LTO office. I explained my situation, he offered to
do the registration, and I was able to get it registered without lagay or anything.

it pays to be at least a sort of geek in several things. sometimes you get sales talk, which is fine. but trying to dupe a person because of ignorance of things is just wrong. I do wish I was more of a car nerd so I can't be scammed or denied proper service or certifications like that which I deserve to get

We have an Automotive subject back in high school.

I bought my first car. Second hand siya and was requiring a bit of work.

Since I already bought the car at walang warranty/return yung contract, I bit the bullet and had the car repaired. Sinabihan ko rin yung binilhan ko na napalaki gastos ko sa repairs pero he came back na unnecessary yung repairs na gagawin sa kotse ko.

After a few days I got the car and a hand written list of parts used for my car.  When I did my research, I realized I was duped by the mechanic. I was overcharged for the cheap parts used and cost of labor.

Now I have found an honest mechanic at sa kanya ko na palagi dinadala yung sasakyan namin. I've also bought repair manuals for my cars so I can do simple repairs/mods myself (minor service, brake replacements, lowering/suspension mods, exhaust mods, etc..) and to familiarize myself to the amount of work required for major repairs just incase it was called for by the mechanic.

Last time he was quoted big bucks for an exhaust leak para sa Mazda Tribute nya na flange replacement lang ang kelangan.

It does pay to be a geek  :-D

DBTI?  :-D

I don't really know how I got to be really familiar with cars, pero it most likely has something to do with how I watch my father drive and work on our car.

A big part of what I know about the history and styling of cars I got from joining clubs and taking part in activities.

I learned what's rice, what's nice but respect both.

I'm driving with mismatched headlights now - super white on the right, regular color on the left for premium lolz   waley pa ko time bumili ng matching pair ulet e
