I just got a Pearl Omar Hakim sig snare, and I wanna change its batter.

Choosing among Remo Coated Ambassador, Aquarian Texture Coated Power Dot, or Aquarian Response 2 Coated. Whaddya think? Or if you guys have other suggestions, feel free.

i tried aquarian hi-energy and powerstroke 3 coated, snare side basic remo ambassador with 42 strand snare wire.. depends sa application mo kapatid eh! sa sound essentials kasi they will ask you how you play and what music you play, then they will recommend a head that will fit your needs

Sir may I ask how the 42 snare wire affected the sound? humina ba projection or maganda pa rin bato? given when it was paired with the hi energy thanks!

Thanks, guys! I've decided to get an Aquarian TCPD.

My question now is: What would be the best snare wire? Are 42's better than 20's?

Suggestions, please! :)

for me, okay na yung 20-strand snare wire bro.
since 13x5 yung dimension, ma-crack talaga tunog nun
tska para mas lumabas yung tonal qualities ng shell  :-)

yung 42 strands mas ideal siya for 14" and deeper snares.

but you can still try the 42 strands, it will still depend sa pandinig mo
