Problema ko kasi yung POD may studs sa ilalim; not sure if I can take off the rubber studs para di nakaharap kung i-velcro ko man.

Does the HD500X play nice with drive pedals bro? Thinking of getting this or the GT100 but I can't decide hehe. Not sure if the GT100 has an fx loop though.

In my experience, the drive pedals sound best in a loop as opposed to them driving the guitar input. Parang di ganun kataas ang headroom ng guitar input ng HD500X so it ends up being squished when you bring the OD pedal volume up instead of it becoming louder.

Very nice! I'm curious how you rigged your HD500x to a Pedaltrain / Pedalgrill  using cable ties. Considering using cable ties for the board build too. Velcro's too laborious e.

Here's my worship pedalboard set-up : Squier Deluxe Stratocaster > T.C. Electronic Mini Spark > Ernie Ball Vp. Jr. > Line 6 POD HD 500x (M. V.  Shredhead - FX looped). Kulang na lang ng T.C. Sub N' Up Octaver for a POG-like ambient tone.

Thank you, sir! 12.5 * 29 size for my pedalboard. Hindi ko alam kung gumagawa pa siya ng pedalboard e. UNOH Customs maganda din gumawa ng pedalboard. May mga pina-refurbish kasi ako sa pedalboard ko na pinagawa ko sa kanya. naman. May Facebook page sila sir.

I started with this setup din. Medyo lutang nga yung higher freqs. Try using combo front or stack front mode depende sa amp mo. Then try turning off the amp block.
See if it helps. Also try using the preamp ("PRE" models) and see it that helps.

Personally i'd go into the return with amp block enabled. Sayang yung amp sims eh. Hehehe

last jam nag direct ako sa return ng amp to get a more thick sound. i rely kasi sa amp sim ng line6. kaso ang worry ko is pag may amps sa gig or new studio na walang effects loop -_-

I understand your situation. Hmmmm given the chance I'd put a post eq sa patch ko. Yun nga lang you have to spend time to tweak it to match the available amp sa venue.

Or why not try plugging your unit straight sa mixer? I have not done this but i've seen this suggested in some other forums. At least magagamit mo pa amp sims mo plus your sound will change slightly lang. Bahala na si sound engr mag tweak. Hehe

I use studio mode all the time. I just have 3 versions of all patches:

1.  Pedals only no amp sim no cab sim (for direct to amp input set ups)
2. Pedals amp sim on, cab sim off (for direct to amp fx return set ups)
3. Pedals amp sim on cab sim on (for direct to PA work)

According to yupangco, may Line 6 Helix GT na irerelease sila hopefully this may or june daw. All the internal features of helix but smaller size sa helix but larger than Pod, so wala daw LED lights, etc. I searched for it sa line 6 website pero wala pang news about doon pero sana totoo kasi almost half the price sabi nila.

^Dun ka magstick sa mga YT videos na relevant sa hinahanap mo that way dika malunod sa research. I for one when I had the HD500 I was just looking to create some heavy tones for rhythm patches and very clean and sparkly patches so dun lang umikot mga research ko.

Narrow down what you want to learn and focus on them first. At kung tingin mo makakatulog ka, try to pick shorter vids to watch para di maglapse attention span mo.

Anyone here have good results using Amp sim without cab sim going directly to guitar amp input?

Forget it. You're not working against the gear here. You're working against the physics of the amp's circuitry.

What has worked well however is to plug into the fx return jack where it is available. I turn off the speaker sim in this scenario as the amp's speaker already would be providing the coloration.

To deal with multiple gigging scenarios where you have no idea what amp will be at the venue, I made two sets of patches: one with amp sims (cab sim off) for use with fx loop equipped amps, and one without amp sims so I can go straight to the amp
input.

YMMV as this works well if you treat one patch as if it were one pedalboard.  If you're the sort of person that moves from patch to patch within a song, you will need to be creative on setting up patches and set lists.
