Marx Lenin also has an Axis pedal. He shared insights before at the Pinoydrums Yahoogroups site regarding Axis peds... I hope could share once more here at PhilMusic.

um cno kaya meron nito dito? all I know based on the review online, if you are after the speed, then AXIS is the one. But versatility, they say no.. di ko maandaan kung saan... pero super smooth daw. kaya lng super mahal....

nasubukan ko ung axis longboards. sarap gamitin. dulas tapos haba

drummer ng KnK... kapitbahay namin.. si paul maggat. meron xa niyan. axis pedals. ganda xa kaso depende sa uri ng tugtugan nio.. longboards ung kanya.. 30k bili nia dati.. pinaorder lang.. mahal lang talaga pero swabe..

mahal daw sabe ng troopa ko.. sa japan daw siya papabili.. aabot daw ng almost 40k..
pero hayup yang pedal na yan.. look for chris adler and how he uses that pedal with his double strokes.. swabe.. ang galing! di mo xia magagawa sa ordinary pedal like pearl,tama and the same..

Titanium ata kaya lightweight. I'm not a drummer but maybe drummers would love them in my studio.

parang nabasa ko dun sa pearl drummers forum na umalis na sa axis si chris adler... nagpunta sa dw -- dw9000 ung nakita ko dun sa pic...

IMO, its too luxurious even for studio use for the ff. reasons:

- its not going to improve your bass drum sound
- how many drummers that can play faster than 200bpm will come in to your studio?
- a pearl eliminator or a tama iron cobra can do what it does, not as light or as fast but if your answer to the above question is 0 then you really dont need it

but damn, the gear freak in me says it would be nice to play around with

You have a point. Rather get a 26"x14" Ludwig kick drum na lang.

Hintayin na lang natin na mag develop ng ganyang design (long board w/ direct drive) ang ibang brands.
Sigurado me maglalabas din ng ganyan...mas mura!

ayos na ayos ang axis longboards mapapadali mga foot techniques especially HEEL TOE...
try to contact sir vinci (vincher)...palagay ko ginto ang axis...MAHAL... bukod dun kapag nasira wala ka mahahanap na piyesa sa pinas...pero all in all talgang sobrang perfect for me ng axis. anyway pangarap ko lang magkaron nun pero sa ngayon ok nako d2 sa gibraltar6611DB murang mura pa!!!
