Paano ko kaya ipapasok to?

hindi ako marunong ng double peds. but when i try to imagine the beat that a double peds could bring, parang maganda naman. so i could say, nasa nagdadala yun... I agree with JP.

Sir, may PM ako syo

nowadays depending on the music you play you really don't need those
double pedals and yet i stil have them coz i simply am preparing myself
to play some virgil donati or terry bozzio stuff soon hehe.

i'd rather have a double pedals than two bass drums unless my band is really into
gazillion of double bassin stuff.

last sat april 28 i had a chance to be one of the judges in a BOTB
for the town fiesta at san simon. i had a lot fun listening to the new breeds of
pampanga based drummers along with their bands.
...and some did use double pedals for double hits and those short -

It depends on wat u play...

Magtanong k sa sarili mo anung dinedemand ng songs for the drum line? dats ol dat matters

We play drums hnd pra pumorma but para maging killer ang songs mapa Pop or MEtal.

I play metal (Meshuggah,Mudvayne,Slipknot) so i need the doubles. Kasi most routines are impossible sa singles.

But if I play pop or alternative, ill go for the singles kasi useless ang 2nd ped sakin....

bro Gep, suggestion ko lang, kung meron ka nang existing na Dpeds, utilize mo na lang! use it in a musical way.. not just by tu-gu-du-gu-pak! but try to explore more and create licks.. parang si carter beauford..
ako, i have this Dpeds, pero hindi ko na dinadala yung slave unit.. hindi pa ako ganun kasanay i-execute ng maayos kasi hindi pantay yung length ng chain.. eheheh my two cents!

hope you guys dont mind but i have a question that is similar to this thread so i thought there's no need for a new thread,

the question goes like this,
gep is wondering if it's reasonable to keep his double peds even if its not always used and its not necessary in the genre of music that he plays,
and you guys said that its worth it to keep it since its already their and it can serve its purpose in the future so better save it,

now how bout those who doesn't have any peds yet like me?
should i aspire to have single peds where i can save a lot of money and because it's practical and portable and reasonable,

or should i go straight to double pedals so that i only need to buy once?

the simplest solution is to buy both  :-D

may double peds ka sa bahay at may single ka to bring to gigs. pag natuto ka na mag double, e di dalin mo na yung double mo tapos sa bahay naman yung single. that way hindi ka tanggal-kabit ng pedal sa practice kit mo hehehe

pero seriously, buy the best pedal you can afford whether its single or double. yung type of music mo naman ang magdidictate sayo kung alin ang kailangan mo.
