Sir, aral po ba kayo sa Music? Husay nyo po kasi sa Scales eh.

salamat...
oo nag aral ako,  sa Yamaha. 3+ yrs. Practical theories . pero may self-studies din. malaki ang naitulong nun. both worlds malaking tulong sa akin. at ensayo.  huwag kang maiinip habang nag-eensayo. tyaga. at makinig ng kahit anong music. makinig. napakalaking factor nun.

hahaha...salamat....salamat for watching.

For example sa Jazz. fusion and others.

I want to make solos of simple melodies kasi, sa dami ng scales na napag-aralan ko, di ako sure kung anong scale ang babagay sa feel na gusto ko. I always end up using Pentatonic that's why kung may gusto akong gawing solo, ang labas lagi "blues".

Medyo hirap din po ako sa Phrasing, give me your general principle naman on phrasing oh.

Pentatonic is the "Safe Zone".   Pero lumayo ka muna  sa pentatonic sa ngayon...memorize mo na di ba?  Eto lang yung konting alam ko..

Jazz - Diatonic, Dorian/Blues, Blues, Altered Scale
Fusion - Modal Approach (use all modes) and Pitch Axis, Altered Dominants          (symmetrical, whole-tone, Dom Substitutions, Hybrid Scales (Dominant b6),
Bebop - Major bebop (add Natural 7th to Mixolydian Mode)  Minor bebop  ( add   Natural 3 to a Dorian mode),
Shred - Diatonic, Modal, Harmonic Minor, Blues, the modes of Melodic Minor Scale.
 Metal -  Diatonic, Blues, Penta
 Pop - Diatonic.
 Folk - Penta and Diatonic.

....ano pa ba kulang...yan lang ang konting alam ko...
