Same here, always on ang DD3 ko... Maliban na lang pag gusto kong tumugtog ng mabigat...

Sa mga nakakakuha ng desired clean tone while rolling off the volume habang always on yung dirt pedal/s ninyo....nakakainggit kayo!!!  :-(

Hindi ko talaga magawa yun. I can get a clean sound by rolling off the volume...pero hindi yun yung clean sound na gusto ko. Or if i dial in the clean sound that i want habang naka roll off...pag nilaksan ko naman yung volume knob, hindi yun yung gusto ko na dirt sound. It has always been one or the other for me unfortunately.

Hanggang reverb lang talaga always on ko. hahaha

aling pedals to? more importantly, anong amp to? :D

daming factors eh. I've noticed night and day difference between linear vs audio taper pots for this arrangement.
hahaha ako binibiyak ko muna yung wetpaks para makita kung may yellow thingy hahahaha

Baka your pedal is not built to do that. MarkV designed the SH to clean up smoothly. I can also do the same with my Blackstar LT Metal pedal using my EMG equipped Ibanez.

Kung gusto mo ng may spank yung rolled off clean tone mo, lagyan mo ng treble bleed capacitor yung volume knob.

how do you define "your kind of" clean tone? Kasi there are different ways to achieve such. Ako, I don't play with the volume knobs at all and it is not my thing. I just stack pedals, add reverb and delay to it. My stepping foot is always at work to achieve the clean/drive switching.
Sa pinipig, bukod sa pwede mo singhutin, pwede mo rin tikman.

^^^ sa strat ko may treble bleed plus laging on ang TS Mini then point of breaking/clipping yun amp (Blackstar HT1/HT5).

Thanks everyone! I think treble bleed mod nga ata kelangan ko. And baka dahil hindi rin masyado malakas yung amp so it does not react to volume changes properly?

My set-up is Guitar -> Soul Food -> Vox AV30. Pag medyo malakas yung amp...napapag tiyagaan ko yung volume roll off pero pag mahina..wala. di ko gusto yung tunog. hehe

Radical Devices Transparent OD (based om Emerson's Em-Drive). I used to have it placed right before my large box Rat but now nasa after na siya nung main dirt ko. I'm not sure if it sounds better, pero it works...so kebs lang. lol

Currently gamit ko sya sa practice rig.. Strat>Pure Sky>Blackstar HT1RH>1x8 closed back cab with Celestion Eight 15 speaker

Ganyan kasimple pero solb na solb ako. Kadalasan blues improv and finger exercises tinutugtog ko pag practice pero minsan napapasarap sa mga backing tracks sa Youtube dahil sa pedal na to

My signal chain - PRS Torero (EMGs) straight into an EVH 5150iii with a flashback delay on the loop (most of the time my always on pedal for lead work) - 2x12 closedback cab with creambacks. Simple but does the job

Looks like i finally found my always on pedal: Ethos TWE-1

Using my Les Paul's volume control and selector switch...i can go from James Brown Funk to British Blues to Creeping Death!
Sa Strat naman...kaya mag Nile Rodgers clean chuka chuka chord stabs to Ritchie Blackmore madness...again just by using that damn volume control.
