Yes vintage style truss rods nasa ilalim talaga ng neck.
I think the headstock adjustable truss rods 1st came
sa 70s strats. The bullet style ones.

Sabi ko na magugustuhan talaga yan ng makabili.
Very resonant yung body. Balanced weight.
And I like the USA Vintage pickups a bit better than the Texas Specials.

Hi mates tanung ku lang kung my pamilyar dito sa 62  anniv series na japanese strat na fender

Kasi nakakuha ako galing ishi kaso nga lang nabura na yung sa my code sa likod kaya hindi ko na malaman specs via net salamas sa sasagot

sinong may road worn strat dito? di ba may 2 silang versions, yung old version had too much wear tapos may bago na silang version na parang closet queen?

By the way, if you love your strat, don't sell it. HAHAHA! I traded mine for a Gibson SG but I missed it after a few weeks.. GAS never ends!!

depende sa tao sir. merong nakakarinig at meron hindi.

ako binenta ko mga MIJ ko when i started to hear differences sa basswood + sen sa alder. lalo na nung hinahanap ko na yung mga sinasabi nilang quack, bote, at bao ng strat. plus yung mga malantik na goma/bouncy ang tunog. mosty well pronounced yung mga higher order frequencies na yun sa mga higher end guitars.

IMHO paps, kung sanay ka sa Alder na strat, di ka matutuwa sa Basswood. ako kasi, for the longest time, naka Alder na MIK Strat. tapos bumili ako MIJ na Basswood Strat. feel wise, parang may mali talaga. i tried spending time with it, pero wala talaga. iba talaga yung alder. IDK kung ako lang, pero i really heard the difference (mas darker sounding yung basswood strat, kulang sa kalansing)

2 cents ko lang.

kuha ka na lang ng guitar na naka alder, better if US made or a foreign guitar made from US alder. ....the  older the wood the better.

Agree ako dito. Di naman sa naka try na ako ng basswood strat, but I own a basswood tele. Ibang iba siya sa mga tele na natry at dumaan sa akin. Darker siya, mas kulang sa high freqs. Parang mas "modern" sounding sa akin ang dating.
I guess ganun din siguro ang effect sa strat... Kanya kanya lang talaga I guess yung preference.. di ko na naisipan ibenta yung basswood tele kasi pasok rin sa playing style and sa preference ko. :)

Joel, Analog.Matt,

I don't think may advantage ang luma. I've had a couple of old guitars na dumaan sa akin, 73, 77 and 79 strat, tapos 2 70s Gibson LP at ilang mga 80s rin.. maganda naman sa kung maganda pero not the best.
Tinalo pa ng AVHR mo yung mga strats na nahawakan ko na luma. Wala lang...  :D :D

Di rin siguro lahat ng luma maganda, pero maraming magaganda (actually applicable to sa lahat ng years, mapa vintage man or modern).
Nakatry rin ako ng 66 strat, maganda rin tunog, focused - pero di ko type for my playing. So ang lumalabas talaga nakadepende sa taste ng tao kung maganda or hindi...

At medyo hindi rin ako naniniwala sa USA made dapat.. Ilang beses na rin ako nakarinig ng magagandang MIJ na kumakain ng MIA. At ilang Gibson historic na di ko nagustuhan..

Again.. subjective talaga ang tone. And di porket na may ilan na akong natry eh expert na ako. Hahaha! Yun lang! Chambahan lang guys kaya never ending talaga tong GAS LOL
