Mga tol! Napakinggan niyo na ba tong album ng A7X? Balita ko si Mike portnoy nagdrums dito kapalit ni "The Rev".

its a kick-ass album bro. i've been a fan of avenged sevenfold since i was exposed in music. iba pa rin ang drumming ni the rev dahil meron syang uniqueness na style, di ko mapaliwanag dahil di ako drummer. im always amused with their twin guitar solos and pag nagtabi si Syn at Zachy left and right pa.

yung sa bagong album naman.. nightmare, meron syang 11 tracks..

isa dun meron pang vocals si Rev.. yung Fiction.. composed at arrangement nya yun.. weird yung tone at arrangement pero very catchy.. and conveys a lot of meaning.. yung drumming ni portnoy as usual malupet.. pero hard rock, metal pa din genre nila dito sa album na to..

syempre fan nila ko so biased ako. so i really like their album. more power to AVENGED SEVENFOLD! hope they make more records despite of their fallen brother who will be remembered foREVer. \m/

  Astig! Napanood ko palang kasi un Nightmare(official video), creepy nun video pero potek, Rock ON!! Isang track palang napapakingan ko, parang kuntento na akong gumastos para sa album.

Nakakamiss din talaga si The Rev, masyado pang maaaga, buti nalang tumulong din si Portnoy pero, sakin lang a, parang paulit ulit nalang un beat ni Portnoy. Maaalala mo talaga Dream Theater sa pag drums niya.

Haha, fan din ako kaya sigurado ako magugustohan ko din to. Kudos sa A7X!!

meron din uniqueness si portnoy sa kanyang drumming (for me, dahil di naman ako drummer di ko kabisado) pero lahat ng albums nila, if you can appreciate different genres, iba iba din genre nila ehh.. pinaghahalo halo nila sa iba't ibang kanta, parang yung A Little Piece of Heaven nila, compo din ni Rev un.. ang ganda ng arrangement, tsaka meron na sila ngayon strings na accompaniment sa iba ibang songs nila kaya more flavor.

sayang talaga si The Rev..R.I.P..si Mike kasi ang all time favorite drummer ni The Rev kaya sya ang nilapitan ng A7x para irecord ang mga drum parts ng kanta at para tapusin ang tour...sabi ni Portnoy, yung mga drum parts na tinugtog nya are how The Rev arranged them and wala syang contrbution sa album musically..talagang nag fill-in lang sya at tumutulong lang...session drummer at tour drummer lang sya..anyway,its still a great record..sarap ulit ulitin ng nightmare..it pumps through my skull!!!

try listening to Save Me and So Far Away.

Will do!  Slowly getting used to the songs pa rin ako.  But I know that this is different from their previous work, just by listening to the first few runs on my player.  A lot more depth to the musicality, that's what I'm hearing so far..

this is their first time without The Rev and also the first time with Mike Portnoy.. Jimmy (The Rev) is a great influence for song writing within the band.. mahirap tumbasan yung mga works niya for this band.. pero as this band goes on.. i'm pretty sure, they'll improve their works even without the Rev but it will never be the same ofcourse.

Oh, it's nothing new.  Been banned several times before, but this time I'll really try to keep it clean.  I'm just like John McClane from the Die Hard series. I may not be popular with everybody, but I get the job done at the end of the day.

Back to the topic.  Portnoy's just studio-hacking for the vaklushiified charges of M. Shadows.  I suggest they get Sweet Lapus as their new drummer.  Bagay sila impernez.  They can even do a vaklushiirock version of the Lie Detector song from Showbiz Central.

True, Di naman talaga sila Metal Band, just metalcore, pero just because they liked to play this genre doesn't mean they're "poser sh*t". Tingin ko they enjoy their music and they entertain to a certain audience, kung di ka kasama sa audience, pwedeng pwede na tumahimik nalang.

Anyways, alam ko di pa sigurado si Mike na magstistick sya sa banda na 'to, pero mag-totour pa ata muna siya with this band. Hopefully, wag naman sana maging permanent dito si Mike, magandang addition to sa bandang A7X pero mas maganda bumalik na lang sya sa Dream Theater.
