Sir C12 500mb ang ilagay mo, yun talaga ang para sa MB 378..it will not MB 378 if its not for that driver..

Di ko pa nasubukan LPS, pero according to its spec e kapos sya sa 378, It will do the job but it will not unleash the power of 378. At least 1000w rms sa 8ohms ang power amp mo dapat.

ask lang sir sa xprnce nyo sa lps2500 anong klaseng speaker or brand spec nang speaker ang kayang kaya nang lps na drive... in stereo mode and bridge mode? planning to have those...

power light kasi PSU nya kaya magaan, magkano kaya ito dito sa pinas? mas mura gx series sa rmx series ata. kaso no bridge mode at di recommended to drive 2 ohm loads. ok na for monitor amp duties at for small events with your favorite plastic speakers.

Sad to say,,ung lps2500 ko nasira,,8 months pa lng binili ko un s MB..nsa setup ako noon, ung load nya 4 n HF neusch 400 wtts 8 ohms maya maya may nangamoy sunog an then ayon nkita ko ung lps 2500 nka fault at nka clip na , kahit n e on at off ko at reset wla n talaga nka steady n ung light ng fault indicator nya kya ayon dnala ko sa MB mag 1 month na dpa tapos kya dko pa alam kong ano ang sira nya,,,,,,,Ano ang opinion nyo dto mga bossing,,,,,,tnks

IIRC, may crowbar circuit across sa output ng LPS2500 so kung sakali man na magkaroon ng significant DC sa output ng LPS2500, maa-activate yung crowbar circuit at i-shoshort out yung output para mag open yung fuse sa output. therefore hindi makakarating yung DC sa driver or crossover network. kaya hindi DC ang reason kung nag"shoted" ang driver or crossover network.

possible things that might have caused the failure are
1. oscillations,
2. if the HF drivers are used with 2nd order passive cross-overs, it could be that there was significant power at the resonant frequency of the LC crossover. If the HF drivers somehow opened, then the unloaded LC crossover will appear as short circuit at the resonant frequency thus causing the amp to fail.
3. Third scenario is that since the amp was used for HF, it could be that the rail-switches were not fast enough to cope with the HF signals, causing them not to turn off completely.  This will make the rails stay at elevated voltage increasing the dissipation of the output transistors, heating them excessively leading to failure.

these are just probable scenarios that might have happened, and it is difficult to conclude without the evidences. parang CSI na a.

tama ka sir the show must go on kya sinalpak ko na ung standby amps ko na MA10,at kung halimbawa n wla akong reserve amps d e connect ko nlang sa mid ung HF in parallel,,pra tuloy ang party at ng d nila bawasan ung bayad sakin hehe..
