yep..i got lost when i went there, sinundan ko ung mga jeep after the first guard house, i turned left hehe..i ended up sa valenzuela/malabon na haha..ginagawa pa ung bridge so uber traffic, i arrived 5pm na! but i tell you...its worth it, pati price..damn too affordable!

if you're looking for a 500k pots meron sa sta mesa shops, MIK un, pero maliit ang thread, engraved ung 500k sa likod, hindi printed or sticker like those of MIC. mang max uses the MIK. it costs 40 bucks. ok naman dude ung thread lang talaga maigsi, esp if ur planning lagay sa lp, mabibitin ka. if kei mang max ka buy, mas mura ata pero un cost mo to go there e add mo na lang sa pagbili sa ibang store, like epektos.com, audiophile (costs around 150 or less ata, ung MIJ na maliit, 300+ sa MIA, bigger one), everymusic - 200 ata.

nag pa paint strip ako dude, strat type 500, pina wood finish ko

ang repaint nya asa 2k

but still depende sa work and guitar to be done, better yet call him or bring yer gtr sa shop nya!

- Repaint
- Custom cut Pickguard (I have the base pickguard)
- Change plastic nut to Bone

Wishlist

- Convert the single bridge to tunomatic with stoptail
- Add neck binding

Actually di SG.  its a Slammer by Hamer guitar, gusto ko sya i custom to a similar Hamer guitar.  Kaya ako nag hanap sa forums ng Luthier na mura.  Kasi dami ko plano gawin... Re paint, palagay ng binding, change nut, palit bridge, decal etc.

Ok ba i project? gusto gawin 2nd guitar pang back up sa SG ko kung baga.  Ganda ng tunog eh.

Baka pwede mo ako samahan minsan papunta kina Mang Max Rufo

huwaw...ganda naman nyan, parang junior ang kalalabasan hehe..meron ka na bang pickguard for the project? if tortoise or pearl i think wala siya nun..

sure bro, samahan kita to get there. mejo tricky din kasi ang pagpunta...meron din akong pa repair sa kanya e..

let me know kelan para masched natin. be sure to talk to him din muna for a few quotations, pero i know it won't be that much pag nagpagawa ka...ang repaint asa 2k, that's way cheaper than anyone else i knew.

ayos dito na try ko narin mag pa "refresh" ng frets kc di ko pa kayang mag pa refret( sabi kc sa ibang luthier na dinalhan ko refret na raw 1.8k gagastusin ko), kay mang max nagawan pa ng paraan na refresh lang ung frets... ang mura ng singil nya!!! hehe sasabihin ko pa ba kung magkano 
mura at mabait kausap si mang max...ayos rin kc malapit lang sa valenzuela area.

was able to speak with mang max before the reason kaya 2k kasi he uses an anzhal paint and the guitar will be painted like a car so yung finish nya kasing kintab nang mga pang transhow pwede ka manalamin as per mang max. pero kung ayaw mo daw nang anzhal pwede mas mababa nang konti yung bayad. nax na brand of  paint mas mura po yun. fyi lang po..
