anong pinag kaiba ng REMO made in Taiwan at Made in USA na pinstripe for sale sa JB? sobrang mura nung taiwan eh. pero di ko nakita. same quality ba ? same pa pagkakagawa ?

Yan ba yung Encore heads by Remo (taiwan)? Ito yung heads sa studio na pinagppraktisan namin. Para syang mga stock remo heads ng Sonor drumsets. Much better than no-name heads, but still not up to par to the quality of the Ambassadors, Pinstripes, Genera, and G2's. "Pwede na".

Encore yung made in taiwan... its thicker than pinstripe(don't know if that's good)... and it does not have the "muffling ring" like pinstripe... its actually more like an Emperor head.. i think

not sure about the exact gauge.. but it's thicker than pinstripe w/c is 2-ply...
but definitely no oil in there...

Ambassador coated would be nice with all genres. Try mo rin Evans g1 coated. Or Genera Dry coated.

In my opinion, pinstripes should only stay on the toms. I use a coated Remo Emperor 14" on my snare drum. It's the best skin for the snare if you're after a mellow, musical and loud snare sound. On my bass drum, naka Remo Powerstroke 4 coated ako, and it's the deepest punchiest skin I've had. Too bad alang ganon dito sa Pinas, I had to make my dad buy abroad when he was out of the country.

hmmm.. i wonder what is it about the pinstripes that make it so expensive? asar talaga.. tinanong ko sa jb yung drumhead nilang pinstripes, lampas 1200!

tapos sa coated ambassadors naman, mga 600+ lang. so yung ambassadors nalang binili ko para sa kick drum. what's the difference between the two?

Bro actually fiberskyns are best pag orchestral situations. pati Renaissance. Hindi siya pang rock or live.

Pare, mas mahal ang pinstripes dahil sa pagkakagawa niya. Double ply kasi siya, it means, two skins na pinagdikit at nilagyan ng oil sa gitna para bumigat ang tunog.
