almost 2years na ako naglalaro ng drum mania...
and yes, playing this helped me alot kung consistency paguusapan...
pero yung dynamics pati notes parang hindi....
nakatulong din yung machine na toh ma-practice yung left hand ko, lalo na pag nasa expert level.. pero onti lang yung songs nila na nakakatulong talaga, at yung iba nakaka [grape]

The first game that made me get into drums since 2005. Some songs can improve your independence and consistency but some charts (e.g. The Least 100 sec, Children's Sketchbook) are pure BS because you don't normally hit those rolls in a real kit!
Note: Most drummers who have played Drummania first before playing a real kit develop stiff overall movements due to sightreading of notes (I'm an example).

minsan sir try mo Hid+Sud+Rev tapos 0.5 yung speed hahahaha! ang kulet XD hehehe ayun, naglalaro po ako karaniwan sa Victory mall after school hehe
dadaan din naman ako kaya palo na hehehe, astig din kapag madaming nanonood hehe akala nila madali hahaha!
hehe sir basic muna po hehehe, pag nakukuha na yung tempo at timing ayun apply na ang drumming skills hehe!
i agree, mapapasok mo lang yung drumming skills mo dito pag expert songs na yung tinutugtog mo...
kailangan mo parin mag simula sa basics para malaman yung mechanics ng game, then sigurado ako after a week or two magagawa mo na yung expert songs.

I still hate this type of games...... never got the hang of looking at the screen and following some colored icons coming down, timing it... I really do... I more freestyle.. not a technical kind of guy... even sa drumming ko, freestyle talaga ako.... in every genre ata ng music napaluan ko even those hip-hop people (Salbakuta style) yuck... pumayag lang ako nun because nakiusap lang hiphop cousin ko...
back to the topic... more of CounterStrike, Special Forces guy ako.. sniper!!!!

Nakakatulong siya sa totoo lang! Basic muna then Expert na :-D

Di ko na try maglaro nito... for the following reasons... 1.Di ko alam yung mga kanta... 2.Parang di realistic yung drumming nya... 3.Daming naglalaro hirap pumila... 4.Kapag walang naglalaro isa lang meaning nun.... SIRA!!! Mas trip ko yung "Doogi-Doogi" real drum kit junior size... Wala nga lang alam yung mga staff ng arcade about sa maintenance... Tapos yung mga songs real pero putol... May Black Sabbath, Metallica, Bon Jovi pati Avril Lavinge... Kaya bottom line... Bitin ka kapag naglaro ka...

actually avid player ako nito pero hindi parin kaya ng mga 90+ na songs hehe
that game hopefully next year meron na dito kasi currently nasa 100 pesos per game yan sa ibang bansa
haha about sa price, in positive side: maaalagaan yung unit dahil iilan lang ang maglalaro in public negative side is konti lang ang makapaglalaro hehehe
btw exited na ako magkaroon nyan dito!
kaso nga lang V6 nga hirap na sila bumili, XG pa kaya :lol:

@ sir ranen: just play first the basic sir, then i bet you will get it easily cause its more like a one by one note coming down, then try to focus in one song only till you got the idea of playing,
play advance and if you are getting the rate of B,C,A, or S/SS its time to play extreme, which has the real note of the song
Actually its Exactly like Reading notes sideways :wink:

oo bro, ang hirap matulog eh haha.
mahirap nga sya sa keyboard, kahit gamepad hirap na hirap ako eh haha. kaya nga nakalimutan ko na meron pala ako nun dito sa PC, di ko kasi nagagamit gaano.
^haha yan yung iniisip kong bilhin dati. pinagpilian ko yan saka generic na drum kit=))
san po pala skul nyo sir?

haha dun ako sa generic na drum kit. naisip ko kasi iba pa rin yung totoo kahit na di sya branded. pwede ko naman kasi iupgrade ng unti unti. saka mas feel ko ang drums pag ganun.
sa adamson ako nagaaral..
hmm...di po ako marunong ng drummania, tinry ko sya dati sa SM manila, grabe nagsayang ako ng pera, wala pa ata 10 secs ang itinatagal ko sa game patay na agad. di pa kasi ako marunong nung game. pano kaya ako masasanay dun kung patay agad lagi? hahaha

GFDM XG2 "Groove To Live" coming this 2011. BTW, I might be going to Singapore this coming Christmas vacation. There are three GFDM XG machines there in three different arcades.

ah sir, wala pong double pedal sa drums na yan.. tunog double pedal kasi sa music possibly sa bass at gitara sabay pero ung nag ddrums hindi talaga naka double pedal. IMO.

sure sir! sa una lang po yun, i know exaclty yung feeling mo that time hehe, na marunong ka mag actual drums but hindi mo masabayan right?, sa una lang po pero kapag naging comfortable ka na sa pagbasa ng nota, i bet you will be addicted to it hehe
(it really helps in reading notes hehe, kasi almost same sila, nakatagilid lang sa drummania hehe)
9th mix nakalagay pero 10th daw yun, parang nga,.. ang maganda lang is walang sira at matagalyung buhay 2x kaysa sa iba XD

guys, take certain comments lightly! :-D what el brutal meant was it's not his thing to play DrumMania, he feels that it's lame in the context that it does not suit his preferences. let's just say it was due to a lack of a better term, but nonetheless, no offense was meant to the avid fans of DrumMania. cheer up guys! nood ako sa inyo or kung may oras sali pa ako just for the fun of it! lighten up okidoks! :wink:

I discovered my passion for drumming by playing drummania. old school version pa nun. Then I went on to real drums and stopped playing drummania. The thing is with drummania addicts (the ones i've seen), just because napakagaling nila sa laro, they think theyre also good sa actual drums. I tried playing the game again, tapos yung mga ibang naglalaro dun na expert sa game, ang sama ng tingin sakin kasi i'm not as good as them in-game.
Meron ako nakita, sobrang galing sa laro. Kabisado na lahat ng songs. Tapos when I got to watch him play real drums, he couldn't even hold the sticks properly. He played real drums just like he played drummania.

Same here. Started with old-school Drummania before playing in an actual kit 5 years ago. It's okay to play freehand (left hand on hi-hat) since that's also a style too. Only have to use Auto-Bass for most 80-90'ish songs that I cannot pass. :D

Trinoma: V3 at parang matigas masyado ang bass pedal. Gateway: V3 at parang may sira ang bass pedal. Robinsons Ortigas: V6, P10 (two tokens per credit). Megamall: V5 pero medyo mahaba ang pila.

@sir drummerboy5: its like a metronome with falling notes, kaya po mahirap kasi ikaw po ang susunod, di tulad sa actual na tayo ang nagbibigay ng tempo :wink: , but for me drummania is very good for practice parang nota na din po in vertical view, and a perfect playable metronome to enjoy hehe
@sir kssael : S lang po ehh hehe pero full combo, minsan ko lang po nagawa nung ok pa yung paddings hehe Russian Roulette, saka Yakeno Gahara :oops:

I think it's functional. Machine is running, kaya lang 'di binubuksan yung swiper. Last time I played, may problema yung navigation buttons (yung sa right side). Pinapalitan yata kaya sinara muna.
Never had problems sa PF5 sa Quantum. Pretty decent naman, although Bass pedal is not working.

1st time (& last time) ko maglaro ng DM was in a small DM-EB w/ sir vhinming & kssael... And that was about last October pa, posted pa dito yung planning namin... Di ako familiar sa mga songs kaya I never tried playing again...
I've always played dati sa "doogi-doogi" but the kit sucks BIGTIME... :x Sana maayos maintenance nila sa lahat ng gamit lalo na yung instrument/games... Kahit nandun yung mga gusto kong i-cover na songs, nakakawalang gana rin maglaro... Pedals wobble, tunog lata, cymbal cracks & drum triggers on/off during play... :-D

San ba yun DM sa Trinoma last time na nagpunta ako dun wala ako nakitang DM? Sa SM North nalang kami nagpunta :)
Dalawa Timezone sa Trinoma sir. Medyo tago kasi 'yung isa. :lol: Sa Arcade 'yung DrumMania. Malapit sa TGI fridays, Tabi ng Red Box. Galing sa Timezone Main, may pintuan sa far left side, malapit sa motion ride machines. labas lang kayo doon tapos kanan. dere-derecho lang 'yun. :lol:

grabe nga basang basa na yung damit nya. magaling sya. expert mga 99 ung level na ginagawa nya. PERO MAY BASS kaya dun ako naelib. madalas kasi puro auto bass nakikita ko e. tas ayun tinry kong bumalik. pagbalik ko sira na yung bass pedal daw kaya maintenance yung machine pero sandali lang daw. badtrip talaga. hahaha
