What kind of tube preamp would that be sir dodjie? thanks :)

Depende sa taste mo.  common to that would be the Marshall JMP-1, ADA MP-1 or if mas galit ka sa pera, go for a mesa Recto preamp, Mesa formula preamp, mesa Triaxis or the cheaper mesa V-twin rack preamp.  Also look for the old Mesa Studio preamp which is a Mark IIC design preamp.

Another nice option would be getting a nice speaker emulator alongside your poweramp.  Split the channels of your preamp to stereo, one goes to the poweramp (or amp's fx loop in), the other goes to the speaker emulator, then ask the techs in the venue to tap your signal.  Palmer makes good cab sims.

Haha! Malaking pera yata kailangan nun, Mel. Nakipagpalitan lang ako, wala na ulit akong Strat.

Fender Studio Reverb. 15watt amp that gets the job done. great with effects or plug and play. walang switch ung OD nya...just a gain knob. 8" Celestion Speaker and very simple electronics i love the fact na kahet maliit sya ang LAKE pa rin ng tunog nya.....gotta love the japanese.

Hi Bart

I got it from someone in Whiterock BC. He said he got it from Long and Mcquade not too long ago. Is Brent his name?

Yes, that was Brent of BC. Awesome! Small world, isn't it?. I recognized the maple's pattern right away.
How are you liking the Z? Do you go to the Z-Talk forum? Awesome small, tightly knit community of Dr Z owners.
Maybe someday I'll invest on another Z amp. I love the Carmen Ghia's phenomenal tone. It's just that I can't seem to complement that beauty with my sloppy playing.

Whoa! Ayus! He sold it cos his son's going to college. He gave a freakin, awesome deal. And that's not all. Amp is in pristine condish.
I love this amp. The attenuator is doing its job and doesnt compromise the sound at low level. The thing is loud with the 2x10 cab!
I only wish that it has a reverb.

Someday I will join the Z forum. Just trying to stay away from temptation. hahhaha. People there might entice me further..There are a lot of Z in craigslist nowadays so..... :-D
