Ernie Ball Superlocks and Schaller are much better than Dunlop.

yung Schallers aren't failsafe din. you have to regularly check if the nut is still secure kasi thats the only thing holding your strap in place. but, yeah, they do feel sturdier than Dunlops.

Gamit ko GROVER sa superstrat. nabili ko kay sir R.Chino. so far so good, easy to retract and draw in.
HENNESSEY naman sa acoustic. both are best for me.

nawala yung washer and nut ng Schaller straplock ko.. nakahanap ako ng washer, stainless din medyo maliit lang compare sa orig. Pero yung nut parang walang pag-asa makahanap.. huhuh

I bought the Warwick ones from Lyric and as of today they don't fail me at all. pwede pa magpasirko sirko pero syempre di ko ginagawa kasi baduy para sakin haha

I use both cliplocks and straploks, I like cliplocks more, when using straploks make sure to double check if its secured, sometimes it slips.

I'm now thinking about abandoning both Schaller and Dunlop locks, and then go back to the cheaper Dunlop Lokstraps.

should I take the plunge? looking for some nice straplocks to accessorize by bass..haha dont care much for these things until now..I just use those rubber beer washers..
pero parang ang "pro" looking ng metal locks..hahaha pricey lang..GAS! gwapo ng flat black na dunlops!

I got Dunlop strap locks. So far okay naman sila.

The button screws on guitars/bass are not standard, at least from my experience. Sa LP, iba size ng neck button screw sa bottom button screw, plus you have to drill a few mm's deeper sa neck button kasi maikli yung stock ng LP.

Try to do some research if you need to make adjustments depend sa guitar/bass mo.

I just bought a pair of schaller straplocks yesterday..

Much better than dunlop Imho. Dunlops look cheap.
