I would just like invite all fusion/smooth jazz listeners to our gig tomorrow Wednesday Nov. 8, 2006 at Strumm's Makati (Jupiter St.).
Our band Working Stiff plays jazz fusion from Eumir Deodato to Spyro Gyra to Yellowjackets to The Rippingtons (playing some Lee Ritenour, Larry Carlton, Jeff Golub, Bobby Caldwell, Gino Vanelli, Jeff Lorber, Steve Khan along the way). Yup, Strumms seems to be trying to enlarge its market: from dj music to Brit-rock to retro-70s to 80s top 40 to jazz fusion. For the jazz genre, Mother Earth nga had a reunion show there last month and Henry Katindig and friends also played there two months ago. Wala pa lang yatang indie at emo.

We play there again on November 28.
