Good day Sir

Please give me the cheapest items na maiirecommend nyo below.

1 Planet Z Cymbals Set
1 Snare Drum Stand
1 Hihat Stand
1 Bass Pedal
1 Remo Drumhead Pack(for Fernando Standard drumset)

12k lang po budget ko. Kaya ba? kasi hinde nagrereply mga taga JB music sa message ko

Thanks..
whoah. uhm. get everything secondhand like harugrugrug said, except the heads. see if you can get ZBTs or B8s for cheap instead of the Planet Zs.

Abot budget mo,pero invest on 2nd hand items.yung skin na lang I brand new mo.

Totally agree with this.

My suggestions would be:

1 ZBT/B8 Second hand set (This would cost around 8k if you're lucky. thats for a 14 Hats, 16 crash and 20 ride.)

1 Snare Drum Stand - a generic snare stand from JB (Fernando) costs around 680-850 pesos. this is that one with the adjustable snare support/claw. it does the job.

1 Hihat Stand - a nice second hand would cost around 1.5k lowest. might be a gibraltar, a mapex or a sonor.

1 Bass Pedal - you can get a decent 2nd hand pedal for 800-1000 pesos. slightly used. will either be a MAPEX or a beat up pearl..

1 Remo Drumhead Pack(for Fernando Standard drumset) - snare plus 3 toms would cost you around 2.2k - 3.5k. better get these new.

All in all, the lowest amount you will be shelling out with these wants will be around 13150. stretch it to 14-15k to be safe.
hahaha ako binibiyak ko muna yung wetpaks para makita kung may yellow thingy hahahaha

keyholing is not a feature bro. its a defect that develops over time.

cymbals stay in one position kasi hindi even ang bigat ng nya, minsan talaga may mabigat na side at yun ang napupuruhan kaya nadedevelop yung keyhole especially kung wala kang ginagamit na sleeve para maprevent yung metal to metal contact ng cymbal at ng stand.

Exactly. keyholes are a result of unnecessary metal to metal contact between the cymbal's hold and the cymbal stand. especially with stands that have no sleeves. worse, those stands with screw threads on the sleeve.

Keyholes I think were done to get the sweet spot of handmade cast cymbals to stay put in one place... you'd probably do more damage to your ZBTs by keyholing them from the get-go, especially if you don't know what you're doing.

keyholing is not a feature bro. its a defect that develops over time.

cymbals stay in one position kasi hindi even ang bigat ng nya, minsan talaga may mabigat na side at yun ang napupuruhan kaya nadedevelop yung keyhole especially kung wala kang ginagamit na sleeve para maprevent yung metal to metal contact ng cymbal at ng stand.

Hmmm yes it's a defect that should be avoided for obvious reasons, but intentionally putting a keyhole to make it stay at a preferred position, while absurd, is possible...ewan ko, I personally won't do this... <_<...hehe this part of the thread is considered as help/tips AFTER buying the first drum kit, medyo OT medyo hindi  :-D

Mga sir, I have the picture na but its in my cellphone, medyo crappy pero its better than no picture at all hehehe...

The problem is the Lenovo laptop Im using right now doesnt have a bluetooth capability... Hanap muna ako ng ibang laptop... But I assure you guys, the pix will be uploaded this afternoon..

Now back to keyhole, saan pwede mag order ng SLEEVE or pwede ako mag DIY using any available hard plastic or rubber materials...

Thanks again mga bro...  :) :) :)

pwede naman DIY bro, use yung hose na clear na ginagamit para sa fishtanks. anything to avoid metal to metal contact between the cymbal and the stand. :D

pero cymbals sleeves, sa JB meron. Gibraltar. 195 ata per pack if im not mistaken.

sige lang bro! take your time :D

I think parang wala yata bro, but am not sure... I have to examine it again tonight if may kasamang sleeve na yung stand....

Thanks again.
