What's the size of the tom that you're planning to convert?

Why not use a snare drum stand?  Para walang compromise.  At least you can use your 13" tom either as a normal mounted tom or as a "floor" tom, depending on certain situations.

Yun nga lang, if you want to set it up low, it could be difficult with a snare drum stand.

Anyway, there are floor tom legs and leg mounts available in leading music stores.  Nakabili ako dati ng Gibraltar floor tom legs and mounts for my old floor tom, and I highly recommend it.  It's very solid and well-made, and I think nabibili siya as a set of 3's.  Then, just drill that 13" tom of yours, and screw the necessary mounts.  Make sure the 3 mounts are evenly spaced around the drum's diameter.

Just buy a multi-clamp, then clamp it on a cymbal stand, then attach your tom mount to the other end of the multi-clamp, then mount your tom on it.
