i just saw the video.... sana matapos nyo naitong project nyo with the better USB. i'm interested din sa kakalabasan.

my only problem is, pano ako gagawa ng kit para ma install ko yung megadrum...

You may visit toontrack.com forums. There's a portion there called e-drum for free with tons of tutorial on how to make your diy e-drum kit.

I'm the guy who bought the Alesis SR-16 from you. Would your e-drums be compatible with that? How much would it cost to have the LCD installed?

Hey Marco,

Theoretically, it should be able to work with the Alesis SR-16, but the reason I sold it in the first place is because I wasn't satisfied with getting good articulations with the SR-16. Maybe I just didn't find the time to tweak the settings of SR-16 that's why I didn't get the sounds I was expecting.

The unit is currently priced at Php5,000.00 even with LCD and buttons since there are new design optimizations that reduced the number of components. We'll still recompute the pricing if we need to adjust it whether it be lower or higher.

It's either youtube or my camera, kasi pag pineplay mo halos real time talaga e, walang noticeable latency...siguro kelangan ko pa experience paggawa din ng video, hehe.

eto yung DIY edrum ko hehe next weekend pag wala ginagawa try ko gumawa ng video kaka assemble ko lang kanina eh hehe try ko rin upload mas maliwanag na pic bukas bago ako pumasok office picturan ko ulit

wala sa pic yung alesis trigger I/O ko bili pa ako clamp this week para kabitan nung stand nun

curious lang po, paano po gumagana yung cymbals niyan? pano nakakakuha ng tunog? kapag ba mahina ang palo mo sa cymbals, mahina din level ng input?

Louie, kumusta na? For instructions on how to create the cymbals, visit www.toontrack.com tapos hanapin mo ung link ng edrums for free.

The cymbals are velocity sensitive, meaning kapag mahina ang palo sa cymbals, mahina rin ang tunog and same is true for hard hits.

Thanks! As I said in the video, I used DFH Superior. There are two sample libraries for Superior drummer one is Superior and the other one Custom & Vintage.

ito tuwang tuwa sa Soundcard na binenta mo! haha. this week ko lang xa napag-aralan ng husto. sobrang daming kayang gawin nito. partida, mga analog inputs palang ang alam kong gamitin. hehe.

mas mura na yan sa acoustic set pre. at ang function ng 30k up na electronic drums, nagagawa din niya. cosmetics lang pinakamalaking kaibihan...

Anyway, me and my partner decided to shelf this project since maraming difficulties kaming nakikita kung completely built unit ang iooffer namin like warranty and customer's service.

We might offer it as a kit instead para talagang DIY. You build it, so you know kung paano gawin kung may sira, mas ok yun sa tingin ko. Pero let us know under this topic kung interested kayo sa kit. If not, you can always visit www.megadrum.info if you want to do it all by yourself.

If a CBU is 5k and a DIY kit costs less than that, sure sign me in.

I could use triggers in the studio. Dali lang naman trigger pads on a real drum kit di ba, just connect a ceramic transducer to the resonating head of your drum kit ?

Para maka-gawa ng iba't ibang kalaseng drumkit sounds. Great idea yan dre, sensya na ngayon ko lang na-appreciate
