Does the "soaking with baking soda" cleaning method works on cast bronze cymbals too?  :?

that is base on my experience. I used a sabian cleaner on my a custom and parang nagoorange sya. .you should try and find out.

Chipping in my experience...

I also use Sabian Cymbal Cleaner (Sabian cast B20 cymbals).

Nag-o-orange nga, if you follow the bottle directions strictly (which is what I did the first time).

To avoid that, here's what I do now...

After spraying, Sabian cymbal cleaner and leaving it on for up to a minute or so, I thoroughly rinse with running water.

I dab (not wipe) with a towel to dry.

Afterwards, I spray WD40 and let it soak for a few seconds, then I wipe excess off.

Hope this helps.

This happened to me.

I'll use the tip that you have given next time. Thanks!

Also read somewhere that clear floorwax (aside from carnauba wax), can be applied then buffed off after drying, to help protect B20 cymbals from oxidation. I will try to do this after I clean my cymbals (using Sabian cleaner) next time.

Trade secret pa din yung technique ni "autoexec" pero I think yung technique niya yung pinaka-effective, fastest and safest way to clean our pies.
