they're priced high because of this.. they're not your typical mass produced Seymours or Dimarzios..  :-)

Our commitment:

1. Always build the best sounding pickups possible.
2. Only use the finest and most traditionally authentic materials.
3. Wind all our pickups by hand, one at a time here in the UK.
4. Manufacture or source all our components in the UK.
5. Warranty all our pickups for life to the original purchaser.
6. Supply the best customer service and backup available.
7. All pickups made specially to order with a fast turnaround time.
8. Listen to you the guitar player and what you want.
9. Never compromise on creating the best so we can all have
    more time playing theguitar. Amen.

Chris Broderick of Megadeth used to have them for a long time in his Ibanez guitars before switching recently to Dimarzios.

agree ako, mahal nga compared to SD or Dimarzios, but so are WCRs and other boutique pickups. One thing I like about them is that i have not encountered any bad comments about BK pickups.  :-)

Same here. i'll stay with Dimarzios and Duncans muna. Di ko majustify yung pagbili ng "boutique" pickups.

i have a the VH 1 (or was it 2) bridge PUP in my washburn HMWV ... its quite good but quite expensive.

i guess its worth getting if you really are serious about your tone, but if you just wanna sound good... i guess the SD's, DImarzios and EMGs are more than enough to make you happy.

yeah, but nothing you can do, youll just sell it for a lower price, or keep it, and convince yourself that its good because its expensive and bootik...

but im not here to say that bootik is bad. some people just buy it because its...bootik.

if they are really good, then why not? if it suits my preference and i cant find it on cheaper counterparts, then by all means, ill buy it :-D

anyway, this is expensive for pickups, so i advice the TS to think carefully, listen to it, preferrably live, before buying it. if possible, test it on your guitar... because you never know what it will sound on different guitars, or even an amp :-D

even stock/crap pickups sound good on really good amps..  :-)
i doubt that those bareknuckles would make much difference when plugged in a low end amp..

i have a Dimarzio SuperD in the bridge and i'm happy with it.. high output but with a low DC resistance..  haha..

^ I have to agree with the first two statements.

I've owned two different models of bareknuckle pickups. At that time, my other guitars are fitted with EMGs and SDs, I would say my dynamics of  playing is more prominent when I use my guitar with BK. It handles gain very good, I don't know how but whenever I feed it lots of gain, it doesn't get very muddy unlike my other pickups. It sounded spongy and "malagkit" which I really like. Mas nakakagigil maggitara.

It offers something that other brands don't, and vice versa. It's just a matter of what you prefer.

I got BKs on my Strat and my Tele. Both I got 2nd hand which is the best way to get cheap boutique items. My strat used to have tex specs and my tele had the upgraded alnico PUs of the highway1.

The tele has the Brown sugar
The strat has the Mothers Milk.

Both of them sound great and is a really big improvement from what i used to have.

Really happy with them and I guess at the end of the day that's what really matters.
