50mm is pretty near. Di umangal si manong? Nice BW film shots.

thanks.
if you want to crop, you need to scan the film first using a film scanner then use photoshop or light room to crop then print a hard copy. try mo mag film bro. same principle lang ng digital. pero mas exciting coz of the thrill in waiting for the results.

yep. pretty near but it is ideal for street photography. that is why, i apply the "ambush" technique. i preset the distance and metering on a particular area then if a subject would pass by, boom. hit by an ambush. hahaha.

i agree. pero kung nakuha to ng mabilisan, applied yung main element ng stolen/candid shooting.

ganda yung Hitting The Pavement lecture ng B and H sa youtube.

well the last time i held a film camera was...i couldnt remember

pero on the same concept, i try not to look at my shots dun sa lcd ng cam. minsan yung kinuhanan ko request ng patingin, sila lang titingin. sa bahay ko na lang makikita lahat pag sinasala ko na.

yep. if you do not look at your shots when using a digital camera...more or less the same with using film camera. the difference though is you cannot afford to be trigger happy with film. you need to make every shot count. epecially if your camera is only loaded with 12 shots.

Di ko shot yan pre sa step son ko yan nakalkal ko. Buti na lang naka raw/jpeg sya. I just slid the WB slider to cool hanggang ok na sa tingin ko.
Im liking the D700 again ang linis ng raw files nya and very flexible. The raw file looked unusable at first very underexposed nung kinalikit ko sa LR para syang may fill flash but in reality its all ambient and street lights.

^the power of raw  :-D

i really love shooting in raw kahit anong lighting situations pa. yung sa kabilang thread lang ako nagsisi dahil nag straight jpeg ako sa mother and daughter shoot.  :-( hirap timplahin.

and i have also started using lightroom 5. what i do is set the exposure to auto tapos dun ko hinahabol yung adjustments.
