2nd Runner up (3rd place) lang, Art.  The 2nd placer is Filmechs with his Zaku/Ball water diorama.

The Champ is Bulastog with his Impulse Buster conversion.

That's PG Red Frame.  I also have the MG, but the proportions suck.

In the hands of modelers, they're more than just toys.  The Sinanju is my most favorite kit.  I'm looking forward to buying from you if you so choose to sell.  Your best bet of getting bulk items is Rainbow10, but there is also HobbyLinkJapan, which happens to be one of our sponsors for the biggest online mech competition so far, the 2012.

Same here.  I did have enough time to finish it (considering it's a redux), but I just work slow.

Not at the moment.  Our next MAC event is 2012, an international online competition.  There's a Toycon at SM Megamall this December, and the bigger one is every June.  There's also TAGGCOM every April or May, and if Bankee holds it again, a Midyear competition next year.

Then, it's the BAKUC/BMKWC/GBWC every November.

I'd like invite you to join our Gundam/mecha modeler groups, MAC and GMAC.  I already posted your FB page on our walls.

MX, I've been checking out those Hasegawa VF-1 type kits. Can you reco a good one? The one where I can seriously fudge it up and add some battle damage. Maybe start with the non-transformable types.
Sonar 4.04PE/5.2PE/7.02PE/8.31 PE, Project 5 v2.5.1, EmulatorX 1.5, Cubase SL2, Ableton Live 7.14,  Intel Q6600 MSI P43 Neo 4Gb Crucial Ballistix Tracer DDR2-800, Emu 1820m, Yamaha DSP Factory, Terratec DMX 6fire

This is the only non-transformable type Hasegawa VF1 I am aware of http://www.hlj.com/ths09hsghigh.html.  It was released in 2009, so I'm not sure of its availability.

I think I saw one last weekend. Can you link me to a site where they have battle damaged pics of these things so I can have some form of reference?

I'll look for some.  The BD references I know of are for Gundams, though, I'm quite sure Gundam modelers refer to scale modeling techniques when it comes to battle damaged effects.

Thanks MatX.

By the way, what is the safest way in removing old paint from a Gundam without ruining the plastic? I want to start customizing my Strike hehehe...

Some people use denatured alcohol, but there are some who use oven cleaners (like Easy-off), to strip off paint.  Using oven cleaners, though, require that you soak the parts or at least saturate them and put them in covered containers, both to keep the cleaner from evaporating, and avoid fumes.

Will this also work on paints from a spray can? Thanks again
