do you know their prices and if meron pa ba sa Lazer? intriguing at practical yung pedals, boutique looking, parang ka level pa ng Artec, better looking i guess than boston's, behringer's, danelectro's, hehe

I think the graphics for the ultimate octave suits the "extreme metal" pedal better (with the black background of course) lol.

Meron yung isang kakilala ko nung Ultimate Drive, sabi nung taga lazer overdrive daw, pero nung natry ko sa bahay - distortion, which is quiet good to my ears. In terms of built, thick plastic, tapos umaalog yung battery sa loob, parang hindi gaanong tatagal pag palaging naaapakan, namimili din ng plug, yung isang patch plug ko ayaw pumasok. Tsaka baligtad yung label nung level at gain knobs

. And i see some thin wiring sa loob na konting hatak ay parang mawawala na sa pagka-solder. Pero kung nagtitipid ka pwede na, wag lang abusuhin.

meron pa ata sa lazer to. nanggaling ako sa lazer nung isang araw nakita ko yung mga joyo pedals nila.

anybody heard about the Alpha Drive from Freekish Blues that sells at $200 approx? turns out it's simply a rehoused Joyo Ultimate Drive (about $40 here sa atin).

^hehehe, napa-OMG ako nung nabasa ko yan. i read the whole thread, and now i actually have forgotten much of the things that have been said. it's just...sad, really. i wonder what Thad would say now that the Alpha Drive got exposed.

may ultimate drive sa lazer dasma. for P1.8K, not bad. madali na lang yung mods to make it an alpha drive if anybody is interested. i wont do it though

Kinwento lang sakin ni Cayle nung isang araw. Nakakagulat. Gagamit ng mismong circuit board ng iba tapos talagang isscratch at tatakpan pa yung orig na labels tapos ibbrand na kanila. Hahaha.

Haven't heard demos of that Alpha drive. No time to watch youtube vids din, napupurga na ko sa dirt. Haha. Maganda naman ba tumunog? I mean, sulit naman kaya i-mod?

^hehe, for the base price na less than P2K, it wouldnt hurt to try to mod this UD. here's the AD,

nyung nakita ko sa lazer, tiningnan ko kung tbp nga. checked the switch when i opened the battery cover, 9 pins naman, pero parang momentary yung switch eh. ewan, ang labo nga. sayang di ko na-try, nagmamadali ba naman.

Haha. From the video, I don't like it. Parang regular tubescreamer lang din ang dating. Might get other pedals for 2k + mods + effort sa pagmod, na baka mas ok. lol. Just my preference.
