Open Road. OT to your question, get the Open Road and the Double Trouble. Then a high gain pedal like a Keeley MT2. Use a loopers from Kalikot Audio, Mahavishnu and loop-master(preferred). Done deal.

Maxon ROD 880 and ROD 881 - years ago. Just didn't sound right to my ears. Was just too thin. Bad bass response. Tried it on Marshall 8040 and a 6100LM (that's a fat sounding amp). That's as far back as I can remember.

Last I had and used for 1-2 years was the Boss GT8. Served me well.
Leaning towards the Line 6 POD HD500. Looks really promising. My friend's POD HD500 is arriving soon. Will try it out and post a review/demo.

EDIT: I've seen so many good reviews and really good demos of the Axe FX. Price isn't just attainable. Besides, less cables, less fun.

I like the stock on it's own. But based on the video, I'd get a modified one too.

Do you guys know that the guy behind monsterpedal is fellow pinoy forum member randymarsh based in Australia?

I happen to be holding one of his modded OD-3s for a friend.  We'll be doing vids of it this weekend if we have time.  Although I'm not so familiar with the stock OD-3, the one from monsterpedal is really open sounding in a very good way.

I asked Analogmike and Lavacable about gold-tip plugs. Works best if you have gold jacks too. Although the black plugs look really noice! You just gave me a great idea.
Re: your zoom pedals. Do you have the power driver? Would like to try one.

power driver?  i think you're referring to the zoom pd-01 power drive. i havent got a chance to try one yet.
for the last couple of months, i missed 2 on ishibashi via hordex
and 1 on ebay via bossingboss. and missed another 3 on ebay because i dont have an active paypal account yet.

i hope you can push thru with the gold tips with black plugs so i can dispose my monsters. hehehe.

Yeah, saw ir for the first time there too.  hehe  Didn't know what it was and researched on it.  However, aside from other forums, there seems to be no official specs for it.  But man, you're right!  It looks great and it's cheap too!
