Not the best but this one sounds really nice. Paired with the Les Paul pure classic rock.
Smooth and articulate neck pickup, volume and string dynamics intact. The mids are THERE!!
In a band setting this would definitely sit well in the mix.

The best part is i got it from a rich banker asking for only HK$1250....less than P9K!!!!
This one listed for HK$4000 plus NEW!

i have 3 overdrives on my board ... zim foxrox (channel A, TS based OD), lovepedal eternity burst and a xotic BB preamp. I set them up where they sound exactly alike lol

they all sound great!

Interesting to see how much has changed in the last 7 or so years since this thread waa created. More brands, more choices, and even more confusion!

If I were asked in 2006-2007, I would have placed an MIJ SD1 hands down. Having heard other stuff and used my SD1 for close to 7 years, it probably still is in the top 10 but will easily be bested (to my ears anyway) by EHX's Soul Food, Timmy, and the Super Hard On. Sure the last one isn't really an OD pedal, but I like how it can drive a tube amp's front end really hard.

Xotic BB Plus the best for me

When I was at Monceb's, I was to buy just the Satchurator... then tested the Ts808dx (crap) then FD2... then I asked, anu pa meron sir... He had he try the BB plus and I bought it
