Guys ,
newbie question also. been playing guitar for 8 months now using yamaha f310.

Option 1 Planning to put a pickup preferably yung lemi kasi mura lang hehe or you have any other suggestions? Plan to also buy a very compact acoustic amp since 80% of the time I am travelling to provinces. Any recommendations on what and where to buy. Budget is just 7-8k for the amp.

Option 2 Don't install pickup and just buy the compact amp and buy a simple mic? Any suggestions on the mic and amp at kung saan bibili.

BTW nag aaral na rin anak ko ng guitar and I may buy him a travel guitar also but he is currently using the guitar of his cousin.

The Elliot Lemi is excellent when used with an acoustic amp. for acoustic amp suggestions, you may look at the LANEY LA65D/C or the GOLDEA AG30 or AG50. or kung makakascore ka ng first gen na IBANEZ Troubadour mas maganda kasi mas natural sounding yun.

Kumusta ang feedback ng elliot lemi? I have been hesitating to get one coz hindi ako happy sa k&k nung nasubukan ko.

bro Royc, im using my elliot lemi on my TAKAMINE EG340C, plugged into the TP-$T PreAmp of Takamine. then I have a feedback buster na pantakip sa soundhole. no issues with feedback so far (playing on big stages and small clubs).

I recently purchased an IBANEZ TA30 Acoustic Amp for monitors nalang din hahahaha

all in all, solid yung lemi's.

Puedeng wala sa tono pag sobrang diin. Common ang madiin kung galing sa acoustic tapos nag electric.

If you feel tension and that causes your hand to cramp-up then definitely you're over exerting the pressure on the neck, there's always proper ergonomics on the fretting hand,find your comfortable pressure. Tone wise it'll depend with the interaction of your technique with your guitar.

Ask lang guys... Nahihirapan kasi ako magbend sa ltd eclipse ko. 10-46 elixir yung naka install na gauge. Di ko sure kung sa coating ba or sa set up ang problema :/ kaya usually slide lang ginagawa ko. Madali pa ibend yung 11's ng acoustic ko.

Anong klaseng mahirap? Kung dumudulas baka sobrang baba ng action. Kung matigas baka set up ang kailangan.

Mababa action pero di naman nagcacause ng buzz. Yung tipong may tag of war sa magkabilang dulo nung string kaya hirap ka ibend hehe.

I remember LTD EC guitars to have jumbo frets, kahit pa dun sa budget line nila na EC-50.. Bending should be no problem with low action pag tama ang setup.

Ang naiimagine ko, baka mababa ang action pero may bow sa neck.

good pm idols. newbie here, mag aaral palang po mag gitara. ok lang ba kahit medyo may idad na? matututo padin ba mga fingers ko? plan ko sana bumili ng pang umpisa. ok po ba tong mga pinag pipilian ko?

Sa budget naman,. medyo tight eh... max na siguro ako sa 2000 pesos para hindi mapalo ni gf. Anu po kaya magandang choice? btw, i'm from south... muntinlupa.

In my experience with Elixir 10s, kailangan ng extra effort when bending the strings. Iba ang tension nya compared sa ibang brands of the same gauge. Maybe you just need a little getting-used-to.
