Ang mura sir yung mga sticks. Nung december I think 10% off or 20% off ang snares, not sure. nakalimutan ko. Yung mga vic firth sticks (signatures 80hkd, regular sticks 70hkd), so parang mga nasa 400-450 range lang. dito 750 bentahan e. hehe

actually 15% para sa electronics ang tax pero may mga add ons pa yun para tumaas yung price nung edrums mo. expect to pay around a total of 40% to 60% of the price you paid for the edrums. this is to ensure that you cant profit if you decide to sell your edrums later. pero syempre malaking factor pa rin yung swerte sa "random inspection" ng customs officers natin sa naia.

last year, i bought 2 crashes and a 21" ride from tom lee. the sales lady could not provide a box so she helped me find a noodle box from one of the stores around the corner. bumili na lang din ako ng marker at packaging tape dun sa post office sa kabilang street. binalot ko ng sobrang dugyot yung cymbals pero padded ng husto, pagdating ko dito sa pinas, di ako pinansin ng customs

smart move sir... :-D i was there first week of feb... had a close look at the stewart copeland snare, yung nasa picture sa taas...kaso after computing everything i decided na it's not worth it kung di rin lang sale...kasama ko rin ang family ko so i can't expose them to this kind of hassle...it's already a stretch that they went walking with me to tom lee...instead i ended up buying a pair of sticks and a vic firth stick bag pakunswelo...

magpupuslit ng snare? dali lang nun. remove the snare wire and the heads. ilagay mo sa maleta yung shell tapos saka mo palibutan ng damit. yung heads at wire, ipitin mo sa karton. kasyang kasya sa mid size na maleta ang 14x6. i did it with a starphonic

They're strict on jewelies and electronic items usually. Pag na tyempuhan ka, pwedeng scan yung hand carry mo sa xray machine.

95K lang lalabas TD15kv sa kanila, sa atin 150K. Mura talaga pag sale.

pero zildjian are 20% off paiste are 25% off
snare are also 20% off same with pedals e drums and drum sets

like if you buy a custom mastersound hi hat 14 inches it's around 2,300 hk dollars times 5.8 is 13340 pesos
since it's 20 off it;s just 1840 times 5.8 is 10672 pesos( prices depend on the exchange rate,i based it on czarina money changer, pero if you have means to get cheaper dollars then exchange it to hk dollars mas makakatipid ka just exchange you money in mirador mansion not on the airport forex

pero di ako bumili ng cymbals dun, hehe, oks nako sa cymbals ko.just bought a splash worth 2,900,hehe
and tested the jojo mayer pedal! not worth buying even thought it's sale price is around 11k.
hndi ko makitaan ng innovation,i'll just stick to my speed cobra.
if you got the chance to buy there is to snag some snares pedals and cymbals, makakatipid kayo, pero syempre kung makikisabay lang kayo dun niyo mararamdaman ang tipid, or bibili kayo ng madaming items, hehe pero kung pupunta kayo dun at bibili sa tom lee ng ilang piraso lang e hindi rin tipid in a sense, hehe.masarap din magbakasyon sa hk
pero you could snag some items that aren't sold to philippines,im was planning to get gavin harrison snare pero ioverspend sa ibang bagay, hehe

here's a limited edition snare just for tom lee's 60th anniv signed by mike portnoy, hehe, sorry wasak na bb lang camera gamit ko,pero when i get the slr of my gf ipost ko yung iba.
