Paki point na lang ako kung existing na ang thread. Nag try ako mag seacrh pero wala namang namention.
1. Need ko lang malaman experience nyo sa pagpalit ng snare wire ng free floating snare (kung Tico Torres, mas ok). Wala kasi ako mabilhan ng replacement snare wire. Masyado namang mahal kung Vintage Puresound.
Ano experience nyo pag pinalitan ng standard length na 14" snare wire? Same lang ba ang tunog?
2. Need ko din snare wire para sa Ludwig Supra 402 (14x6.5), since meron ng available na Sabian Bronze at hybrid, ano comparison nito against Puresound. Wala din kasi ako mahanap sa net na direct comparison.

mas mahaba ang snare ng free floater snare. Alam ko meron ang gibraltar. Meron ako sa atc na jb or pwede ka magtanung
sa jb malapit sayo tapos pag pumasok na yung ikot ng truck nila sa store pwede mo ipadala sa branch na yun.
for your other snare wire. not familiar with that one. If my snare is getting really loose. I just go for puresound.

no experience sir. :cry:
i think it would work but i think the snare would be a little choked
thus defeating the purpose of the snare which is free floating or they say the full sound of the shell

Ako sir may binebenta extended snare wire Pearl for free floater. Standard steel color not like mga bronze color. Selling it only for 500. :D

post ka muna ng picture nung ilalim ng free floater mo. napakaluma na nung version ng free floater na may long snare wire.
regular lang na snare wire yung ginagamit since 2000.
tsaka ako favorite ko yung pearl snare wire kasi 750 lang pero pareho ng kalansing ng puresound na tag 1200. kay nickmar or sa jb nabibili

Picturan ko. Gusto ko lang maka siguro na di ma choke ung tunog. At tama ka, sobrang mahal ng puresound.
post ka muna ng picture nung ilalim ng free floater mo. napakaluma na nung version ng free floater na may long snare wire.
regular lang na snare wire yung ginagamit since 2000.

18 Strands na lang kasi sya. Di ba sir ma choke kung hindi Vintage o Pearl FF snares ang gagamitin?

Thanks Chief! Hindi rin kasi sya available now, kaya since oorder din lang napagisipan ko ung Puresound.
BTW, sayang di ko kayo napnood nung pumunta kyo last month s Akl.
