For me, I think he's trying to make the song alot of fun. Cause, if you plainly listen to the music and not seeing him. You will get tired of hearing the riffs.

if you check out his other vids, dude's a real guitarist/musician. He's got his own studio & is a one man band (plays bass, drums, keys, violin ). He's got some serious moments in one of his interviews... (he's german, i think) but there are caps...so you'll know what's goin' on inside his mind :-D
