Lately, nagiging fan na ako ng Foo Fighter when we form a new band with my former band mates after our female vocalist quits and we found a male vocalist. Na-jam na namin ang Everlong at Walk nun and dun na namin i-set na kelangang ala Foo Fighters ang mga gagawin naming kanta. So I listened all of their song pati pinanood ko ang mga live videos nila (kasama ang docu nilang Back and Forth).
I like them dahil magaling sila both on records at live performance. Nahahalong punk, alternative at hard rock ang music nila kaya sabihin natin na simple but heavy music (just like Nirvana minus the angst, plus the distorted baritone guitar).

Fan talaga ako ng Foo fighters kahit dati pa pero lalong tumaas respeto ko sa kanila lalo na kay Dave nung ginawa nila yung Album nilang Wasting light. Panoorin nyo sa youtube basta search nyo na lang "the making of foo fighters wasting light" :-D

Guys you should see yung concert nila sa Dave Letterman, nasa youtube... ang lupet! At nag-perform din sila dun sa Led Zep tribute concert, Dave drumming and Taylor singing a Led Zep song.

Been a long fan of Foo Fighters, too bad nga d ako pinayagan manood nang concert nila nung 1996 kase bata pa ako nun bute pa mga kaibigan ko nakapanood, hehehhe

The colour and the shape tsaka there is nothing left to lose are two of my favorite albums of all time( di lang foo fighters ha) kasama talaga siya sa mga favorite albums ko..
Fan ako ni dave grohl, kahit sa probots, them crooked vultures and queens of stoneage. :-D
Ay tsaka tenacious D pa pala nakalimutan ko..

Hindi nila ako fan dati pero few months ago napakinggan ko ang Wasting Light anlupet.

My first favorite album was The Color and The Shape. After that I can't remember why they weren't on my playlist anymore.
Then comes Wasting Light. Now they're on my constant playlist everyday :-D

bilib ako sa lead guitarist ng Foo na si Chris Shiflett.. i think underrated guitarist sya pro magaling talaga..
isang certified punk guitarist sya..fan nako ni Chris kahit nong nasa No Use For A Name pa sya.. sya din ang lead guitarist ng Me First and the Gimme Gimmes.

may short film yung recording ng wasting light sa youtube. sa garage lang at home studio di nila ginamit yung studio 606. pero pang rockstar na garage... hahaha

The Foo Fighters have finally revealed their official announcement. While many have speculated that an internal feud between Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins would lead to the band’s demise — it looks like an entirely different scenario will play out.
Recently, it was reported that Corey Taylor had interest in leaving Slipknot. He was eventually replaced by Insane Clown Posse vocalist Shaggy 2 Dope. [As we exclusively reported] We now know that Taylor left Slipknot to accept the position as the new frontman of the Foo Fighters.
“We are eternally grateful to Dave for being a part of the Foo Fighters family and we have amicably decided to part ways. We will always love you, brother! We are excited to bring Corey Taylor into the band and show you our new direction. He wears flannel that is high grade, not the cheap stuff — so we know you will really enjoy what we have in store for you!” The band’s statement says.
Late last week, Grohl and Hawkins reportedly became involved in a feud over who wore button up flannel shirts better with khakis. During an explosive argument, Hawkins reportedly told Grohl that his button ups were “not that good” which lead to Dave immediately quitting the band.
Following the blow-up, Hawkins approached Corey Taylor (who is known to wear exceptional flannel button up shirts) about possibly joining the band. The two parties came to an agreement as recently as last night.
Dave Grohl is expected to launch a solo career, though it’s unknown if he and Hawkins will ever make amends over their differences on the quality and texture of flannel. Obviously, Grohl has close ties to Seattle, Washington — which is viewed by many as a haven for flannel elitists.
While we’re sad to see Taylor leave Slipknot, we’re excited for his new future in the Foo Fighters!
