Getting over the fact that it is an RJ is more than half the battle. I say get it if it plays well off the shelf.

Hahaha, if ibaba to 2000 php I'd buy it. At the prices they're going though, I'd rather save some more and get an Epiphone V.

That said it bears asking: do RJs come from the same Chinese factories that churn out the cheap Epiphones? If so baka nga worth it din yung RJ.

True. It's a hit miss affair with RJ units parati (as with everything). I once had an RJ 335 that played really well. Pero caveat,  I got it used so it was already set up by the previous owner.
