Agree.Software has made it even easier to slam the levels making tracks almost painful to listen to. I remember playing around with Izotope Ozone's 'mastering' preset... it was a novelty at first, but then ear fatigue became more frequent. I hardly listen to music nowadays, and I miss our family's old turntable and vinyl collection.
