ayun, salamat ser..bale yung tipong pang all around po ang hanap kong sound, kumbaga nasa gitna ng bright and dark ser.. problema ko din kung sakaling bibili ako eh kung pano ako pipili ng set since di ako makaluwas..haha, as of now nasa classifieds napo mga Z's ko kaya bilhin nyo na..

wow, game ako jan ser sandy, salamat..as of now kasi yung samatya set ang nagustuhan ko, im planning to buy 14" hats, 16 and 18 crash, 20 ride, then 2 splashes at 1 china..sana mabenta ko na set ko..

Istanbuls are like Zildjian Avedis... Very Versatile... kung anung palo mo, yun ang tunog na makukuha mo... that's why I switch from K's to A's...

OT: @Plipitiw: Brader, kung mabenta yung kit ko, kukunin ko A new beat 13 mo... Siguro mid range yan, kasi yung A 12" SR hats ko medio di ako kuntento, yung A 14 MS naman, masyadong malakas.... hahaha...

BTW bro, may list ka ba ng prices at sizes na available sa lazer ngayon?mukhang SAMATYA set bilhin ko kung sakali, then bili din ako 18" crash, 2 splashes at isang china..kaso di ko pa alam kung ano ang mga sizes na meron at kung magkano..

tinawagan kasi ako ng lazer music akala ata nila bibili nako agad eh hihingi lang sana ako list price, ayun di naman na sinagot queries ko..

I just purchased a Radiant set cymbals last Aug 26. As the days go by, I noticed that the color is changing especially the outer circle of the ride cymbal. Is this discoloration or rust formation? This is my first cymbal set and by the looks of it I'm not happy. I hope it doesn't affect the sound in the long run?

iMO common lang ang discoloration ng cymbals lalo na sa mga brilliant finish..Malamang nadikit sayo yan ng di mo namamalayan..BTW kakabili mo lang ba bro? Aug. 26 ngayon di ba?

OT lng po: recently I visited Lazer Ali Mall Cubao to check Istanbul cymbals. I saw a drumset with cymbals and I checked out the Sultan hats because I am very curious about it. May worn-out drumsticks na nakapatong lang sa snare ng kit, so I thought it's ok to test out some cymbals. I tapped the hats lightly, choking them by hand because I didn't bother to step on the hat stand pedal. After being satisfied by the sound, binalik ko uli yung drumsticks sa dati. Then the sales guy of the store approached me, I thought would help me choose cymbals. But he instead took the drumsticks and hid them behind the counter. I looked puzzled but I continued by asking prices, he doesn't even know how much exactly they were and didn't even mentioned about the discounts. But what really hit me is his action of taking away those drumsticks. It's important to hear cymbals in person para maconvince talaga ang buyer, pero parang ayaw nya yata magbenta ng cymbals eh.
Nainis lang ako dun kasi before nun galing naman ako sa TMS, talagang ok lang sa kanila dun magtest ng stagg cymbals. Sana naman ganun din sa Lazer kasi, para sakin, hindi naman ako bibili ng bnew cymbal na hindi ko man lang narinig mismo yun sa personal.

Oo tama +100000, i feel you man, dapat advice nila ang mga staff nila about sa pagbebenta ng cymbals. malamang hindi mo naman bibilhin ang cymbals for the way it looks. syempre bibili ka dahil sa tunog niya. lalo na hand made ang mga lines na yan so iba tlaga tunog ng bawat isang pie.

I have called Lazer north edsa and their head office. I want replacement but they said it is only for 7 days after the purchased date. If it really was brand new, I expect something would happen after some months but it was just days. They're insisting also that it's discoloration and they have a vater cleaner for it(that I should buy or free cleaning with jollibee?).

I'll just drop by there to get it addressed. And I hope everything will be ok.

It's inside the plastic bag and heated no? Kaya nag discolorate ng ganyan?

Yung HHX ko nag ganyan after ibought it then was heated extremely inside my car.

Sa protective coating lang yan. Walang effect sa tunog, purely cosmetic. Most likely caused by reaction to chemicals ng coating. Nagkaganyan din yung paiste ko dati nung ginamitan ko ng zildjian cleaner. Dapat same brand. At as much as possible dapat hindi malagyan ng kahit anong chemicals at iwas sa moisture.
