whats the diffrence between Peavey Delta Blues vs. Peavey Classic 30 ?
kita ko specs nila both pareho w/ 4 EL84s and 3 12AX7s at parehong 30 watts ? masmahal nga lang yung Delta Blues ng $40? bakit kaya ?

From what I have read, both amps have almost exactly the same circuit. Both have 4 EL84s and 3 12AX7s. Main difference is the speaker. The Delta Blues have 15in Peavey Blue Marvel while the C30 has the 12in of the same speaker. I've not used or heard a Delta Blues so I won't be able to tell you sonically what the difference between the 2. I have the C30 but have replaced the tubes (Tungsol 12AX7s, JJ ECC83S in the V3) and speaker (Weber Blue Dog). The upgrades make it a "better" amp, IMO. BTW, tube upgrades to the Delta Blues is the same as the C30.

i have a delta blues w/ 15 inch blue marvel spkrs...i find the sound similar with the classic 30, medyo "bigger" & louder lang ng konti due to the spkrs...it has a tremolo effect na ok rin, but it makes your overall volume go down to at least 70%...yun clean channel - panalo...ganda ng tunog, well balanced no matter what guitar i use(tele/strat/LP lang meron ako eh,ewan ko lang pag ibanez)
yun OD channel okay rin, just give it time to heat up...i find it better sounding pag mainit na talaga yun amp at tubes...all knobs go to 12...kaya di talaga applicable sa bahay...dapat may soundproofed room...ang lakas kasi masyado...hehe..
this amp is responsive to OD pedals...im using a vox 847(TB'd)>SD2>DD3...i use the SD2's crunch mode to push the OD channel of the amp...great for bluesy/classic rock type of tone...then i use SD2's lead mode for solos....ganda pa rin tunog...i would definitely recommend it bro...okay din yun hitsura, tweed covered...vintage look ba...hehehe.... 8-) 8-) 8-)

san mo nabili yung delta blues mo pareng haey2 hehehe wala na daw sa AP eh puro Valve King nalang daw ang combo tube amps nila

nabili ko lang 2nd hand bro...but the amp is in very mint cond. w/ box & manual pa...makinis pa yun tweed covering...wala na daw shipment ng delta blues sa AP nun nagtanong ako last dec. sa AP makati cinema square, may classic 30 combo(black covering) at classic 30 head(tweed) sila nun nagpunta ko...check mo baka andun pa...

yun OD channel okay rin, just give it time to heat up...i find it better sounding pag mainit na talaga yun amp at tubes...
i think you can manipulate color of the boost channel by changing the tube in the v3. Depends on what grade 12ax7 you're gonna pop in the v3 position. im currently using GT on v3 and its breaks up earlier than the stock EH tube.

I would go with the Classic 30. Razorback's Tirso uses it practically at every gig. Sometimes bare with just a wah pedal.

Main difference, aside from the 15" speaker on the Delta Blues, is that the DB has a tremolo. The Classic 30 does not.

Nga pla may Guyatone Flip 400 ako. Any comments about it? May dalwa lang shang tubes na nsa ilalim ng amp circuit. Nkasulat sa tabi ng flip logo "TUBE DRIVE"
Ano kaya ung mga tubes na yun? Can my amp be technically called a "TUbe Amp"??

I would go with the Classic 30. Razorback's Tirso uses it practically at every gig. Sometimes bare with just a wah pedal.
i think tirso's c30 still have stock speakers on. where as legarda's have vintage 30s careof tele-tubby. and both sound great!

Well, I think I know that amp. It's a hybrid design. Its output section is tube driven, while the preamp section is solid-state. I think those tubes there are two 6L6's. Text me in case you want to let go of it. :)

Well it's not like I like it like it's an out of body experience. Just thought it would be nice to have a robust amp like that. :) It's just that I told myself that before I purchase any gear this year, I must make sure that all of my existing gear are already set up properly.
But then again,who knows? I might get it in the future, after all. :)

Tumpak ka bro, I got the last one sa Ali Mall last December its a Delta Blues 210. Meron pa dun Peavey C30 and a laney LC series.
