im not much of a writer pero nung high school ako, kapag hindi ako makatulog, kinukuha ko notebook ko at nagsusulat ako ng mga imaginary scenarios... mga could have beens and what ifs ng buhay ko. it acted like a stress reliever. i still do it today, whenever im under tremendous stress. i probably cant take it to the level of stephen king, nicholas sparks, dean koontz, solzhenitsyn...or classic writers like victor hugo, dumas, tolstoy, etc... pero i consider writing as my hobby. sometimes i dream of becoming a comemrcially successful writer, but would something like that ever happen here in the philippines? probably not.

Nung 1st 9 months namin nung gf ko, we used to write in a diary everyday writing what happened, things that we felt, realizations. Just like making a journal -- only subjective. Our exchange of diaries happened every monthsary. That way, when we read it, we would recall what happened in the whole month. Because we exchanged, we would read each others insights, mostly resulting in realizing things like "ay kaya pala na-badtrip siya nung araw na yun" and the likes. It's very healthy in my opinion and at the same time be used as a medium to vent out our emotions. Though we stopped it because I became lazy writing. But I promise myself to write again. I mean I could post here in philmusic and not write :?.

naaalala ko yung "the notebook". i suggest you keep the tradition. who knows diba? hehe. writing in a diary is writing din naman, so it qualifies.

nagganyan din ako dati..hehe...ngayon natigil ko dahil sa fulltime job...yung freelance ko kasi e academic writing so kylngan mo mejo magresearch which is quite time-consuming...pero meron din akong mga keyword/webpage article essays...dagdag mo pa yung deadline na kaylangan i-beat..though setting deadlines are good, kasi ngayon wala akong deadline sa sinusulat ko, i've been writing this idea of mine for 2 weeks na...
disappointing lang kung yung idea mong sinusulat mo ng matagal e bigla nalang mong makikita na nasulat na, or atleast malapit sa idea mo... :|

yeah i would imagine that it would suck big time. akala mo you have this revolutionary original ideal tapos yun pala dalawa, lima, even twenty years nang nakalagay sa bookshelf ng national book store

i write too.
ive never been much of a diary person, but i do have a blog. i wrote for school papers and a few chick magazines that you might know of... i don't think being a novelist is for me though.
so i went into screenwriting. cheesy, but nothing is more satisfying as seeing everything you write come to life... well, except for bad film interpretations, but whatever man. i never show my writings to anyone else, but when its a film i wrote, im probably the first to go -- hey look! i wrote that!!!

pano ba natin ipupush ang sarili para magtuloy tuloy sa writing? mejo tinatamad kasi ako e...hindi ko pwedeng sabihin na walang motivation dahil mejo motivated naman ako...tinatamad lang ako dahil parang may ibang bagay akong gagawin na mas hindi kaylangan i stretch yung isip...mas relaks.. :-D

good thing: starting to write again...opened my blog site (with only 3 or 4 articles) again after 6 months...3 articles await completion, must do it soon :-D
bad thing: i prefer watching movies than writing...and the worse thing is, i have a bad feeling that since the world is ending, i won't have much time to write more stuff, moreover, develop the enthusiasm and the act itself :oops:

Whatever you feed your mind will ultimately come out of your pen or word processor...you can only draw out what has been put in. Your experience, what you have read, heard and seen, inspiration holds a key and so is how you see yourself and able to know what you want , what you need and knowing the difference between the two...

i always wanted to write,
i have short snippets, incomplete sentences. hehehe. whenever i get an idea that sounds interesting, i try to write but then after going to the laptop then seeing that blinking line at ms word, every ounce of brilliance vanishes for some reason.
hehehe story of my life. :)

I like writing tech articles in my blog/fb news feed. nothing professional, but it's mostly reviews and opinions on how tech (or the latest apple product) can impact the industry.
