IMO, those kind of models are not for keeps. Better go for standards, classics, etc. basta classic yet timeless look.
And for 40K?? Just buy a secondhand Gibson studio for that budget, push it further and you can get an Gibson SG standard.

I think I saw a gorgeous Gibson sunburst SG on FB...

for 40k , you definitely can find a guitar that hold their value better... American Standards, Les Paul Specials..Les Paul Jr.s Les Paul studios.. even high end Ibby's ..or ESP's... that is kung keen ng alang sa "pre owned" gear si TS..
anyway..seems a good and fun purchase nonetheless if he goes for the LTD..

YUP! ill go for LTD EC-1000 series nlang para heart pounding hindi risky ang 40k XD. most of all need ko ng EMG PICKUPS.
