had one back in 2003. bought it in one of the music stores in cubao at sale price (only unit left during that time). stupidly sold it after awhile and got an mt-2. yeah i know, i was still in HS then   superb note clarity. tri-gain (tons and tons of dist) but VERY quiet. heavy as fcuk, shattering low-end (my amp literally rumbles if the bass knob is like past 2 o' clock). much more modern sounding than the mt-2, for me anyway. it's definitely a beast compared to the mt-2 but really depends on what type of metal you play. i miss it :'(

The Zoom Tri-metal as mentioned is very quiet, heavy as f@ck because of it's triple gain structure. Swak lahat ng description ni riffmeister. Sarap talga!

Yun nga lang...

Hindi maangas mag palm-mute dito. I tweaked it several times pero kulang talaga eh. Sabi nga ng friend ko parang PLOK-PLOK-PLOK, hindi CHUG-CHUG-CHUG!  :-D

Siguro dahil na rin sa circuitry nya wherein parang may noise gate coz sobra tahimik nya.

Kung matapang lang ung palm-mute sounds nito, this is the metal distortion pedal to end all metal distortion pedals!

i have to agree na di masyado matapang ang tunog ng palm mute. what i do is, sinasabayan ko ng OD. solb na ako dun.

can you share some settings? as of now kasi di pa ako kuntento sa timpla ko although yun lagi gamit ko. liit lang kasi amp ko kaya di ko talaga masabi if ayos na ba tunog pag sa malaking amp.

so is the original tri-metal pedal analog or digital? kasi kung digital yan then its the same nga siguro with the extreme dist drive sa g series multis.

i agree na brutal yung extreme dist drive na yan. sounds cool 'scoopmid'ed, but i've only ever tried it alone, and not w/ the band..

I am using it with my band and di naman ako lubog, Mali kasi ng mga karamihan ay scoop yung mid. never scoop yur mid on the eq setting. set mo lagi sa neutral. then pataas na tipong litaw yung mid mo. set treble na tipong di masyadong matinis sa pandinig. bass dapat speaker ng amp mo ay 12inc para alam mo yung punch.
tapos meron pa yung G7 na tube & boost knob. lalong panalo yan make you feel the warmth feel.

i agree dapat at least mahigit 10inch na driver para may punch, manipis sa praktice amp ko dati pero sa studio aw!

analog. Zoom released 4 analog pedals back in the day. I own the TM-01 and the HL-01.
