If by chance you'd can drop by on a Saturday for the month of May at Bacolod City, Negros Occidental - our band, NANCY BREW plays smooth jazz - fusion stuff at Taberna, Casino Filipino at Goldenfields Commercial Complex at 10 PM.
Our repertoire covers stuff from Lee Rit, Spyro Gyra, Miles, Carlton and the likes.

Fridays at Taberna are guitar trio nights with a repertoire of jazz standards from Seņor Ed Malata - a wonderful player evoking Herb Ellis and Pat Martino.

Last Saturday (April 18), Henry Katindig and Johnny Alegre played at the same place but I missed it, sadly.

These events are brought by the Jazz Society of Negros, a group caused for the promotion of the art form.  Aside from jazz, marami ring beach at mountain resorts to fill the vacation itch.
