I've also been considering penning a book of compilations of lines, etudes, exercises. Na-i-outline ko na yung chapters kanina. Hmmm... still considering it.

Grabe, ang dami ko na pala kasing mga music notebook na napuno ng mga lines, transcriptions, excerpts of solos, my own extrapolations on other people's stuff, my own original ideas... stuff....

Nag-ayos ako ng kwarto nung isang araw at binilang ko lahat ng mga music notebook na na-ipon over the years. 214!!! 214 music notebooks of lines and chords and stuff.

Di pa kasali don yung mga music notebook exclusively dedicated to transcriptions of other people's lines and solos at yung mga notebook dedicated to my compositions and repertoire of tunes.

Yung mga WDOUJI tunes notebooks pa lang, mga sampu mahigit 'ata, eh.

'Yon... kaya ko naiiisipang i-share 'yung i-stuff na 'ito. 

... btw... mas madami pa actually 'yung lahat-lahat na transcriptions, kaso kailangan ko pang linisin ang pagsulat at i-double check ang accuracy of sifra at accuracy of notation... to be continued 'tong listahan.

You have a treasure chest there in your possession.

Please do consider having a few of your transcriptions compiled and published.  Maybe include some of your exercises, perhaps even a few original material. You can perhaps classify the pieces to relatively easy to medyo challenging to downright difficult (yung ikaw lang ang makakatugtog) .

That would be of immense help to all jazz players here.

Of course, this would also imply that certain copyright obligations will have to be paid pero alam ko mababa lang ang sheet music royalties.  The amount, though not negligible will just be a drop in the bucket compared to the value price of your compilation.

Pero alam mo, iba pa rin talaga ang paggamit ng sariling tenga, eh. Napansin kong mas dumidikit sa kamay at tugtog ko ang mga bagay-bagay na sinifra ko ng sarili kong tenga kaysa yung mga bagay-bagay na binasa't inaral ko lang. Yung mga sinifra ko, kusa na lang lumalabas sa togs ko.
