The only dedicated blues club/bar in town has reopened! Bigger space, more central/accessible location (Kalayaan Ave.), and more items on the menu!

Tomorrow Jook Jam will launch Backdoor's gig nights featuring me on guitar and vocals, Ruben Flores on lapsteel guitar, Chester Manalang on guitar, Kakoy Legaspi on guitar and Ronnie Badilla on harmonica.

i'm sure you can, they have an open jam onThurs nights.

I was there two weeks ago, it was great to be surrounded by lovers of fantastic music. Ronnie and I got to really jam on some things, weird guitar vs drunken harmonica, down and dirty stuff hahaha! He's my fave!

Thanks Mike. I checked their FB page and it seems like there is no specific day for open jams, they just post the announcement a couple days before the jam. Great! Looking forward to it.

Blues-Rock fan here. I rarely have the opportunity to go online. Ask ko lang po if open pa yung Backdoor kasi I checked their FB page an dI saw na August 2011 pa yung last event. Gusto ko sana manood ng all-blues gig. If sa Skarlet Jazz Kitchen naman po, is there a day of the week for Blues Night?
