yes pwede yun. kaso you will need to sacrifice your other pads. triple zone needs three outputs from the module

Bro Peeves, just wondering, I've checked my Triple Zone Ride Pad included with the MEDELI DD518DX, pero one input (one cable) lang naman siya na mukhang stereo lang, pero capable siya of the Bell, Bow, Crash and Choke sounds? would you think depende sa module yung support ng Zone-d Pads?
hahaha ako binibiyak ko muna yung wetpaks para makita kung may yellow thingy hahahaha

true triple zone will use 2 wires o kaya tingnan mo yung tip nya dapat 3 lines. kung 2 lang yun, its just dual zone

ah baka may circuit yung triple zone ride mo tulad ng yamaha cymbals. kapag nag activate more than 2 sensors e may equivalent midi note din

Good afternoon mga sir!
So we were watching UDD live and naisipan ng drummer namin na gumamit ng beat pad/drum pad, because of sir Ean.

Pero nung tumingin kami, this one in particular costs more than 30k. Tanong ko lang kung meron pa ba kaming makukuha na medyo mas mura? Or should we go with this agad? Bago lang kami dito sa mga digital pads pero we want to use these as a part of our main sound. May suggestions po ba kayo kung ano pwede namin bilihin that won't hurt our pockets much?  :-D

You can build DIY Triggers for the moment, then trigger sounds via a laptop. pero mas hassle yun. Try looking at secondhand ROLAND SPD8's. pero those are still a little pricey. Mahirap magtipid sa ganito brother. you'll end up buying the Rolands in the long run anyway. might as well save up and get a good one na. kung experiment experiment, try niyo muna mag DIY Triggers.

bili ka muna roland spd-s yung older version nyan. makakabili ka around 10k to 15k sa US ng 2nd hand. its very good. you dont really need the features of the spd-sx to get you started.

Hindi ba napaka impractical ng binabalak mo? Baka naman pwede ka na sa practice pad for your purposes.

Yeah I agree, pad would do,when I Practice usually pad would do,or my other option is bimpo, fold it in two or three folds and put it on a wooden chair or yEllow pages, and my kick are just slippers sometimes for added feel, been practicing samba over
stick control patterns with this. It's not as good but it would rework your routine to be more sensitive in your motions,it helped me a lot. :-D

Pwede pero mejo hassle. My advise is to get a practice pad. kung may budget, yung mga electronic practice pad para may builtin metronome at sounds na. :)

Try mo yung Medeli DD305 or Yamaha DD55/DD65. portable drum kit. kumpleto na, easy to transport. I used that back in college nung nagaaral pa ko magdrums. definitely helped a lot.

I normally record songs live directly to the Zoom R16. Kaya lang I feel the bass drum of the Roland TD11K lacks the low end  thump/thud that I like. Given that the TD11K's audio output is stereo L & R, what's the best compromise to go about it? EQ it out? Or do i have to really use a DAW na to get the specific midi notes and EQ the bass drum directly? I prefer sana to do it all via R16(digital recorder). What do you guys do in live recordings using your eDrum's audio instead of midi?

Bro Erwin, are you looking for the OOMPH or rumble of the bassdrum? kung OO, im afraid you'd have to run that through an EQ. if its just the volume or the punch, there should be a setting in the Drum Module to alter the wave curve on how the pad triggers. My Medeli DD518DX has this capability and I switched the curve to EXP2 to get more punch and power from the kick.

Other than that, I would say you definitely need to run them in a VSTi. Drum Module Sounds do not even come ciose to the sounds you get from the VSTi's like EZDrummer and Superior Drummer. :)

Okaaaaay. Hehe. I think I really have to use VSTi's na nga. How's the latency? Is it usable in live applications?

Yan ang problema latency! Try mo bro smallest buffer size setting na kaya ng PC mo. Last time kasi na gumamit ako ng VST plugin, dahil sa latency hindi talaga useful for live use eh. Naaalala ko 512 setting ko that time.

Thanks for the tip. If latency still gets the better of me, what i could probably do is have the drummer monitor his playing via the in-board sounds of the drum module while simultaneously recording through DAW via USB. Then just run the drum recording via VSTi and sync it with the other recorded instruments. (Ang gulo ng sinabi ko. Hehe)

Brother, so far wala naman akong naeencounter na Latency issue while monitoring realtime :O check mo muna sa setting baka di lang optimally configured :)

I use it to play alove live tracks bro, so far so good, Im using a dedicated interface, AUDIO KONTROL 1, so far instantaneous naman yung sound na nakukuha ko as I hit the pads from the VSTi.  I'm currently using EZDrummer btw.

also, my Laptop is an i7, turboboosted baka kaya niya kaya?
