electric drums for rehearsal studio???
« on: November 06, 2012, 09:26:38 AM »
Good day sirs,

tanung ko lang kung ok ba ang electric drums for a rehearsal studio. i know it can produce better sounds for recording.

Reasons:

1.  maxadong mahal ang mga cymbals. (kahit yung mga fakes mahal din)
2.  maxado din magastos sa skin.
3.  maliit lang ang rehearsal studio ko.

yun lang mga sir. patulong naman po kung ano ang mganda since wala din akong right drum mics dahil mahal din.

thanks.

I guess oo.. Kasi, mako-curious yung ibang musikero and might want to go to your studio just because of the E-kit alone.. so marketability wise.. mukhang ayus...

Yung may Elecronic drums?"  :-D

ikalawa.. (Bro, wala akong E-kit so di ko alam anong maintenance niyan, I'm just thinking marketable ang studio with E-kit specially if maraming estudyante sa paligid or sa mga di pa nakakatry.. hehe..).

Kaso, sigurado kahit gitarista, keyboardista, vocalist etc. papalo sa E-kit just because of curiosity..

.

Well, it's my Idea, yun yung pros na nkikita ko.. in general ang con(s) lang na nakikita ko is yung durability nung kit ang need mo. Although napapalitan nga ang pads.. haha.. I don't know with the other fella's Idea.. :)

I think, medyo di kakayanin ng ringway yung abuse...for home use and kung tropa mo lang gagamit..its fine..mura lang..18k lang yata...been thinking of getting one as well..pero china copies yan..expect hindi industrial grade yung mga parts..

pero kung araw araw..siguro mas ok bili nalang ng 2nd hand kit..and 2nd hand cymbals..mas less maintenance and gastos sa pagayos..

unless siguro, advice mo mga banda na ingatan yung edrums..which parang di naman masusunod... its just a hunch though..ganda din marketing yan..and if you have a small space..swak na swak..

pero para kumita studio..dapat madaming banda and hours and hours of rent...nafefeel ko di kakayanin ng ringway..baka yung kita mo mapunta lang sa pagpapaayos at pagmaintain..

get  a simpler, low maintenance acoustic kit siguro...goodluck

lalo pag first time makahawak ng electric drums..siguradong pareho ng pala at mabibigat ang hampas..mahirap control talaga...isa pa yung parts, and repair..saan makakahanap ng replacement parts..and service ng ringway..unlike regular acoustic kits..dali lang magpalit ng heads kahit fernando or generic heads madali lang bumili at magreplace ..pwede mo set up ng special price siguro kung gusto nila gamitin yung e-drum kit..

kung 12k, bilhin mo na! hehehe..may ibang kits kanaman pala..so kung pareho nakaset up..di naman masyadong mabubugbog yung e-kit..since may iba gagamit ng acoustic kit may iba yung ringway..

as for the cymbals..alam ko may workaround akong nabasa somewhere here..na may guidlines and rules yung studio about pagnagkadamage yung cymbals..parang may "deposit" or something..para iingatan talaga..or minsan may mga "BRING YOUR OWN CYMBALS"...tapos rent nalang yung cymbal set for a fee para di bugbog lagi..its just a take it or leave it thing...at least masasala mo yung mga walang paki na banda..sa mga bandang seryoso at may malasakit...

12k lang! bilhin na yan! hehehe

i wont do that if i were you. mas mahal ang pads kesa cymbals. ang tendency pa ng drummer na hindi pa nakakapalo sa edrums e mas lakasan yung palo kasi gusto nya patunugin yung edrums na parang acoustic hehehe

Not advisable yan...

1. Kick
2. Snare
3. Rack Tom
4. Floor Tom
5. Hats
6. Crash
7. Ride

Cymbals use Zildjian Zcustom (makapal ito) he he he
Drums skins Remo Ambassador Top, Generic for Resonant

sobrang grabe tototoo to..sobrang nakakaluha ang condition ng arcade kits..parang nag sasabi sila na "Kill me now"..kahit yung sticks bali bali na..nakascotch tape lang mga parts..wasak yan..lalo yung hi-hat rubber part ng kit mo..upod yan in less than a year
