Hi guys,

I'm really a guitarist but I'm also a jam drummer. I am currently using a Yamaha DTXplorer and I was wondering if anyone was selling upgrades for this? If not here, where's is the best place to order? Website at least.  :)

More power to Pinoydrums!

rob switch to roland! hehehe

you can upgrade your dtxplorer by switching to dual zone pads and cymbals. kaya lang magiging masyadong mahal na yun. around 30k to change 4 pads and 2 cymbals.

keep it as it is, sell it then buy a roland td11  :-D

budget drums - buy a used td4 or buy a td11 from yupangco during their sale. i've seen ringways and they are the same as medeli. fine if you are not particular with feel and response of the module. they lack dynamics. all pads (snare, kick, toms) have 2 levels, soft and very hard so when you do a roll, everything just sounds stiff and the sound library is really not good.

i sound like a salesman for roland but im not. truly, you cant get any other budget edrum kit that's better than the lowest roland (td4 or td11). even the hd-1 responds and plays better than many of the generic drum modules. it does have sucky pedals but you can add external kick triggers anyway.

Hi All,
I've tried the ringway td90, ok na siya for beginners , kahit walang choke capability at hindi dual zone ang pads . durable din ang quality, papasa na wag lang seguro e compare sa mga high end na maraming bells and whistles.
Tanong ko lang sa mga meron na edrums, yung mga 40 watt na drum monitor such as stagg eda40, or laney ah50, eto lang ang mga available dito as of now na entry level, pede ba malaman kung pede na pang bahay at kumusta ang tunog in general especially yung bass drum? salamat sa input :)

Actually malakas na yang amp na yan for home use. I'm using PM-10 monitor lang, lakas na. (10W).

Mga sir, I have an acoustic kit but currently exploring e-kit possibilities, I just want to inquire on who carries medeli and alesis here in the Phils? Among the three, including Roland, which has the most value for money assuming comparable models? Thanks
